Then the prophet Zedekiah went to Micaiah. Zedekiah hit Micaiah on the face. Zedekiah said, “Do you really believe that the Lord’s power has left me and is now speaking through you?”


I know as much as you do. I am as smart as you are.


Did you listen to God’s secret plans?\par Do you think you are the only wise person?\par


I always obey God’s commands.\par I love the words from God’s mouth\par more than I love my food.\par


But God will humble people\par from their troubles.\par God uses those troubles\par to make people wake up\par and listen to him.\par


“Job, God wants to help you.\par God wants to get you out of trouble.\par God wants to make life easy for you.\par God wants to put plenty of food\par on your table.\par


And if he does kill me,\par I will be comforted about one thing,\par I will be happy about one thing:\par Even through all this pain,\par I never refused to obey\par the commands of the Holy One.\par


I think about God,\par and I try to tell him how I feel.\par But I can’t.\par


But God comforts people who are troubled. And God comforted us when Titus came.
