People who think they are better than me\par lied about me.\par I hope those people are ashamed.\par Lord, I study your laws.\par


If a person is proud, then he is in danger of destruction. If a person thinks he is better than other people, then he is in danger of defeat.


A proud person will soon be ruined. But an humble person will be honored.


‘You will get the punishment you deserve.\par I will start a fire in your forests.\par That fire will completely burn everything\par around you.’”\par


“I will set the walls of Damascus on fire.\par The fire will completely burn up\par the strong forts of Ben-Hadad.” {\cf2\super [403]} \par

The virgin {\cf2\super [58]} of Israel has fallen.\par She will not get up any more.\par She was left alone, lying in the dirt.\par There is no person to lift her up.\par


My anger will burn like a fire, burning down to the deepest grave, [214] burning the earth and all it produces, burning deep down below the mountains!


So these bad things will come to her\par in one day:\par death, sad crying, and great hunger.\par She will be destroyed by fire,\par because the Lord God who judges her\par is powerful.\par
