God defeats great leaders.\par All the kings on earth fear him.\par


You have many, many advisers.\par Are you tired of the advice they give?\par Then send out your men that read\par the stars.\par They are able to tell when the month starts.\par So maybe they can tell you\par when your troubles will come.\par


This was the message: “Jeremiah, take the loincloth you bought and are wearing, and go to Perath. {\cf2\super [105]} Hide the loincloth there in a crack in the rocks.”


“Jeremiah, you will tell those things to the people. And while they are watching, you will break that jar.

The Lord All-Powerful says:\par “Babylon’s thick, strong wall\par will be pulled down.\par Her high gates will be burned.\par The people of Babylon will work hard,\par but it will not help.\par They will become very tired\par trying to save the city.\par But they will only become fuel\par for the flames.”\par


Every person lies to his neighbor.\par No person speaks the truth.\par The people of Judah have taught\par their tongues to lie.\par They sinned until they were too tired\par to come back.\par


All the people in other nations\par were shocked about what happened to you.\par What happened to you will make people very afraid.\par You are finished!’”\par


The Lord All-Powerful has decided that a fire will destroy everything that those people worked to build. All their work will be for nothing.


Then the second angel followed the first angel and said, “She is destroyed! The great city of Babylon is destroyed! She (Babylon) made all the nations drink the wine of her adultery {\cf2\super [101]} and of God’s anger.”


The angel shouted with a powerful voice:


Then a powerful angel picked up a large rock. This rock was as big as a large millstone. {\cf2\super [137]} The angel threw the rock into the sea and said:
