He will be like a tree[firmly] plantedby streamsof water,Whichyieldsits fruitin its seasonAnd its leafdoes not wither;And in whateverhe does,he prospers.
The chiefjailerdid not superviseanythingunder Joseph's chargebecausethe LORDwas with him; and whateverhe did,the LORDmade to prosper.
Now his mastersawthat the LORDwas with him and [how] the LORDcaused allthat he didto prosperin his hand.
And the LORDwas with him; whereverhe wenthe prospered.And he rebelledagainst the kingof Assyriaand did not servehim.
"Now,my son,the LORDbe with you that you may be successful,and buildthe houseof the LORDyour Godjustas He has spokenconcerningyou.
"Thenyou will prosper,ifyou are carefulto observethe statutesand the ordinanceswhichthe LORDcommandedMosesconcerningIsrael.Be strongand courageous,do not fearnorbe dismayed.
Everyworkwhichhe beganin the serviceof the houseof Godin lawand in commandment,seekinghis God,he didwith allhis heartand prospered.
And manywere bringinggiftsto the LORDat Jerusalemand choicepresentsto Hezekiahkingof Judah,so that he was exaltedin the sightof allnationsthereafter.
At the scentof waterit will flourishAnd putforthsprigslikea plant.
"You will also decreea thing,and it will be establishedfor you; And lightwill shineon your ways.
Whenyou shall eatof the fruitof your hands,You will be happyand it will be wellwith you.
Nordo those who passby say,"The blessingof the LORDbe upon you; We blessyou in the nameof the LORD."
They will stillyieldfruitin oldage;They shall be fullof sapand verygreen,
To declarethat the LORDis upright;[He is] my rock,and there is nounrighteousnessin Him.
When its limbsare dry,they are brokenoff; Womencome[and] makea firewith them, For they are not a peopleof discernment,Thereforetheir Makerwill not havecompassionon them. And their Creatorwill not be graciousto them.
Sayto the righteousthat [it will go] well[with them], For they will eatthe fruitof their actions.
And they will springup amongthe grassLike poplarsby streamsof water.'
"And the LORDwill continuallyguideyou, And satisfyyour desirein scorchedplaces,And givestrengthto your bones;And you will be like a wateredgarden,And like a springof waterwhosewatersdo not fail.
"For he will be like a treeplantedby the water,That extendsits rootsby a streamAnd will not fearwhenthe heatcomes;But its leaveswill be green,And it will not be anxiousin a yearof droughtNorceaseto yieldfruit.
"It was plantedin goodsoilbesideabundantwaters,that it might yieldbranchesand bearfruit[and] becomea splendidvine."'
Your motherwas like a vinein your vineyard, Plantedby the waters;It was fruitfuland fullof branchesBecauseof abundantwaters.
Thereforeits heightwas loftierthanallthe treesof the fieldAnd its boughsbecamemanyand its brancheslongBecauseof manywatersas it spreadthem out.
"By the riveron its bank,on onesideand on the other,will growall[kinds of] treesfor food.Their leaveswill not witherand their fruitwill not fail.They will bearevery monthbecausetheir waterflowsfrom the sanctuary,and their fruitwill be for foodand their leavesfor healing."
"Like valleysthat stretchout, Like gardensbesidethe river,Like aloesplantedby the LORD,Like cedarsbesidethe waters.
"But when the sunhad risen,they were scorched;and becausethey hadnoroot,they withered away.
Seeinga lonefigtreeby the road,He cameto it and foundnothingon it exceptleavesonly;and He saidto it, "Nolongershall there everbe [any] fruitfrom you." And at oncethe fig treewithered.
"Whenthe harvesttimeapproached,he senthis slavesto the vine-growersto receivehis produce.
They saidto Him, "He will bringthosewretchesto a wretchedend,and will rentout the vineyardto othervine-growerswhowill payhim the proceedsat the [proper] seasons."
"Ifanyonedoes not abidein Me, he is thrownawayas a branchand driesup; and they gatherthem, and castthem into the fireand they are burned.
"The LORDwill commandthe blessingupon you in your barnsand in allthat you putyour handto, and He will blessyou in the landwhichthe LORDyour Godgivesyou.
These are the menwho are hidden reefsin your love feastswhen they feastwith you without fear,caringfor themselves;cloudswithout water,carried alongby winds;autumntreeswithout fruit,doublydead,uprooted;
in the middleof its street.On either sideof the riverwas the treeof life,bearingtwelve[kinds of] fruit,yieldingits fruiteverymonth;and the leavesof the treewere for the healingof the nations.
