It is the blessingof the LORDthat makesrich,And He addsnosorrowto it.
And I will makeyou a greatnation,And I will blessyou, And makeyour namegreat;And so you shall be a blessing;
Now Abramwas veryrichin livestock,in silverand in gold.
that I will not takea threador a sandalthongor anythingthat is yours, for fear you would say,'I have madeAbramrich.'
"The LORDhas greatlyblessedmy master,so that he has becomerich;and He has givenhim flocksand herds,and silverand gold,and servantsand maids,and camelsand donkeys.
Now Isaacsowedin that landand reapedin the sameyeara hundredfold.And the LORDblessedhim,
and the manbecamerich,and continuedto growricheruntilhe becameverywealthy;
"You shall speakto him, saying,'Thussaysthe LORD,"Have you murderedand alsotakenpossession?"'And you shall speakto him, saying,'Thussaysthe LORD,"In the placewherethe dogslickedup the bloodof Naboththe dogswill lickup your blood,evenyours."'"
Now Jabezcalledon the Godof Israel,saying,"Ohthat You would blessme indeedand enlargemy border,and that Your handmight be with me, and that You would keep[me] from harmthat [it] may not painme!" And Godgrantedhim whathe requested.
Amaziahsaidto the manof God,"But what[shall we] dofor the hundredtalentswhichI have givento the troopsof Israel?"And the manof Godanswered,"The LORDhasmuchmoreto giveyou thanthis."
Now Hezekiahhadimmenserichesand honor;and he madefor himself treasuriesfor silver,gold,preciousstones,spices,shieldsand allkinds of valuablearticles,
He madecitiesfor himself and acquiredflocksand herdsin abundance,for Godhad givenhim verygreatwealth.
Also He blessesthem and they multiplygreatly,And He does not let their cattledecrease.
It is vainfor you to riseup early,To retirelate,To eatthe breadof painfullabors;For He givesto His beloved[even in his] sleep.
For those blessedby Him will inheritthe land,But those cursedby Him will be cutoff.
The crownof the wiseis their riches,[But] the follyof foolsis foolishness.
An inheritancegainedhurriedlyat the beginningWill not be blessedin the end.
A manwith an evileyehastensafter wealthAnd does not knowthat wantwill comeupon him.
To endowthose who loveme with wealth,That I may filltheir treasuries.
At the endof tendaystheir appearanceseemedbetterand they were fatterthanallthe youthswhohad been eatingthe king'schoicefood.
"I will make it goforth,"declaresthe LORDof hosts,"and it will enterthe houseof the thiefand the houseof the one who swearsfalselyby My name;and it will spendthe nightwithinthat houseand consumeit with its timberand stones."
Nowbehold,I have broughtthe firstof the produceof the groundwhichYou, O LORDhave givenme.' And you shall setit downbeforethe LORDyour God,and worshipbeforethe LORDyour God;
"The LORDwill make you aboundin prosperity,in the offspringof your bodyand in the offspringof your beastand in the produceof your ground,in the landwhichthe LORDsworeto your fathersto giveyou.
"But as for you, onlykeepyourselves from the thingsunderthe ban,sothat you do not covet[them] and takesomeof the thingsunderthe ban,and makethe campof Israelaccursedand bringtroubleon it.
