Eachof them will situnderhis vineAnd underhis figtree,With nooneto make[them] afraid,For the mouthof the LORDof hostshas spoken.
So Judahand Israellivedin safety,everymanunderhis vineand his figtree,from Daneven to Beersheba,allthe daysof Solomon.
"Behold,I intendto builda housefor the nameof the LORDmy God,as the LORDspoketo Davidmy father,saying,'Your son,whomI will seton your thronein your place,he will buildthe housefor My name.'
"You would liedownand nonewould disturb[you], And manywould entreatyour favor.
Let the mountainsbringpeaceto the people,And the hills,in righteousness.
Do not be afraidof suddenfearNorof the onslaughtof the wickedwhenit comes;
"But ifyou refuseand rebel,You will be devouredby the sword."Truly,the mouthof the LORDhas spoken.
"The citiesof Aroerare forsaken;They will be for flocksto liedownin, And therewill be nooneto frighten[them].
"In that day,"declaresthe LORDof hosts,"the pegdrivenin a firmplacewill giveway;it will even breakoffand fall,and the loadhanging on it will be cutoff,for the LORDhas spoken."
O LORD,they soughtYou in distress;They could only whispera prayer,Your chasteningwas upon them.
And the workof righteousnesswill be peace,And the serviceof righteousness,quietnessand confidenceforever.
Do not listento Hezekiah,'for thussaysthe kingof Assyria,Makeyour peacewith me and comeout to me, and eateachof his vineand eachof his figtreeand drinkeachof the watersof his own cistern,
Then the gloryof the LORDwill be revealed,And allfleshwill see[it] together;For the mouthof the LORDhas spoken."
"In righteousnessyou will be established;You will be farfrom oppression,for you will not fear;And from terror,for it will not comenearyou.
Thenyou will takedelightin the LORD,And I will make you rideon the heightsof the earth;And I will feedyou [with] the heritageof Jacobyour father,For the mouthof the LORDhas spoken."
"I will also raiseup shepherdsoverthem and they will tendthem; and they will not be afraidanylonger,norbe terrified,norwill any be missing,"declaresthe LORD.
Fearnot, O JacobMy servant,'declaresthe LORD,'And do not be dismayed,O Israel;For behold,I will saveyou from afarAnd your offspringfrom the landof their captivity.And Jacobwill returnand will be quietand at ease,And noonewill makehim afraid.
"I will makea covenantof peacewith them and eliminateharmfulbeastsfrom the landso that they may livesecurelyin the wildernessand sleepin the woods.
"They will nolongerbe a preyto the nations,and the beastsof the earthwill not devourthem; but they will livesecurely,and noonewill make[them] afraid.
and you will say,'I will goup againstthe landof unwalledvillages.I will goagainst those who are at rest,that livesecurely,allof them livingwithoutwallsand havingnobarsor gates,
"They will forgettheir disgraceand alltheir treacherywhichthey perpetratedagainst Me, when they livesecurelyon their [own] landwith nooneto make[them] afraid.
I shall also grantpeacein the land,so that you may liedownwith noonemaking [you] tremble.I shall also eliminateharmfulbeastsfrom the land,and noswordwill passthroughyour land.
ThereforeHe will givethem [up] untilthe timeWhen she who is in laborhas bornea child. Then the remainderof His brethrenWill returnto the sonsof Israel.
"The remnantof Israelwill donowrongAnd tellnolies,Norwill a deceitfultongueBe foundin their mouths;For they will feedand liedownWith nooneto make them tremble."
In that day,'declaresthe LORDof hosts,'everyoneof you will invitehis neighborto [sit] under[his] vineand under[his] figtree.'"
