I am wearywith my sighing;EverynightI make my bedswim,I dissolvemy couchwith my tears.
My eyehas wastedawaywith grief; It has becomeoldbecause of allmy adversaries.
I am wearywith my crying;my throatis parched; My eyesfailwhile I waitfor my God.
If you are slackin the dayof distress,Your strengthis limited.
"Thussaysthe LORDthe Godof Israelto you, O Baruch:
My sorrowis beyond healing,My heartis faint[within me]!
Ohthat my headwere watersAnd my eyesa fountainof tears,That I might weepdayand nightFor the slainof the daughterof my people!
"From on highHe sentfireinto my bones,And it prevailed[over them]. He has spreada netfor my feet;He has turnedme back;He has mademe desolate,Faintalldaylong.
"Let alltheir wickednesscomebeforeYou; And dealwith them as You have dealtwith me For allmy transgressions; For my groansare manyand my heartis faint."
For ifHe causesgrief,Then He will havecompassionAccording to His abundantlovingkindness.
Therefore, since we havethisministry,as we received mercy,we do not lose heart,
Thereforewe do not lose heart, but thoughour outermanis decaying, yetour inner manis being reneweddayby day.
Let us not lose heartin doinggood, for in duetimewe will reapif we do not grow weary.
