and say,'Hearthe wordof the LORD,O kingsof Judahand inhabitantsof Jerusalem:thussaysthe LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,"BeholdI am about to bringa calamityupon thisplace,at whichthe earsof everyonethat hearsof it will tingle.
So the nationswill fearthe nameof the LORDAnd allthe kingsof the earthYour glory.
The Lordis at Your righthand;He will shatterkingsin the dayof His wrath.
Nowtherefore, O kings,showdiscernment;Takewarning,O judgesof the earth.
"As oftenas it passesthrough,it will seizeyou; For morningafter morningit will passthrough,[anytime] during the dayor night,And it will be sheerterrorto understandwhatit means."
Sayto the kingand the queenmother,"Takea lowlyseat,For your beautifulcrownHas comedownfrom your head."
and sayto them, 'Listento the wordof the LORD,kingsof Judah,and allJudahand allinhabitantsof Jerusalemwho comein through thesegates:
"So nowthen, speakto the menof Judahand againstthe inhabitantsof Jerusalemsaying,'Thussaysthe LORD,"Behold,I am fashioningcalamityagainstyou and devisinga planagainstyou. Ohturnback,eachof you from his evilway,and reformyour waysand your deeds."'
"Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,'Behold,I am about to bringon thiscityand allits townsthe entirecalamitythat I have declaredagainstit, becausethey have stiffenedtheir necksso as not to heedMy words.'"
"For behold,I am beginningto workcalamityin [this] citywhichis calledby My name,and shall you be completelyfreefrom punishment?You will not be freefrom punishment;for I am summoninga swordagainstallthe inhabitantsof the earth,"declaresthe LORDof hosts.'
"Thereforethussaysthe LORD,the Godof hosts,the Godof Israel,'Behold,I am bringingon Judahand on allthe inhabitantsof Jerusalemallthe disasterthat I have pronouncedagainstthem; becauseI spoketo them but they did not listen,and I have calledthem but they did not answer.'"
becauseof their wickednesswhichthey committedso as to provokeMe to angerby continuingto burnsacrifices[and] to serveothergodswhomthey had not known,[neither] they, you, noryour fathers.
"Hear,O earth:behold,I am bringingdisasteron thispeople,The fruitof their plans,Becausethey have not listenedto My words,And as for My law,they have rejectedit also.
"Thussaysthe LordGOD,A disaster,uniquedisaster,beholdit is coming!
and you will evenbe broughtbeforegovernorsand kingsfor My sake,as a testimonyto them and to the Gentiles.
He who hasan ear,let him hearwhatthe Spiritsaysto the churches.'
The LORDsaidto Samuel,"Behold,I am about to doa thingin Israelat whichbothearsof everyonewho hearsit will tingle.
