Then he broughtme backto the doorof the house;and behold,waterwas flowingfrom underthe thresholdof the housetoward the east,for the housefacedeast.And the waterwas flowingdownfrom under,from the rightsideof the house,from southof the altar.
There is a riverwhose streamsmakegladthe cityof God,The holydwellingplacesof the MostHigh.
Godis in the midstof her, she will not be moved;Godwill helpher when morningdawns.
Then those who singas well as those who playthe flutes[shall say], "Allmy springs[of joy] are in you."
And manypeopleswill comeand say,"Come,let us goup to the mountainof the LORD,To the houseof the Godof Jacob;That He may teachus concerningHis waysAnd that we may walkin His paths."For the lawwill goforthfrom ZionAnd the wordof the LORDfrom Jerusalem.
On everyloftymountainand on everyhighhillthere will be streamsrunningwith wateron the dayof the greatslaughter,when the towersfall.
"Ho!Everyonewho thirsts,cometo the waters;And you whohavenomoneycome,buyand eat.Come,buywineand milkWithoutmoneyand withoutcost.
"For My peoplehave committedtwoevils:They have forsakenMe, The fountainof livingwaters,To hewfor themselves cisterns,BrokencisternsThat canholdnowater.
Then he wentto the gatewhichfacedeast,wentup its stepsand measuredthe thresholdof the gate,onerodin width;and the otherthreshold[was] onerodin width.
The widthof the entrance[was] tencubitsand the sidesof the entrance[were] fivecubitson eachside.And he measuredthe lengthof the nave, fortycubits,and the width,twentycubits.
Then he saidto me, "Theseare the boilingplaceswherethe ministersof the houseshall boilthe sacrificesof the people."
"By the riveron its bank,on onesideand on the other,will growall[kinds of] treesfor food.Their leaveswill not witherand their fruitwill not fail.They will bearevery monthbecausetheir waterflowsfrom the sanctuary,and their fruitwill be for foodand their leavesfor healing."
He broughtme out by wayof the northgateand ledme aroundon the outsideto the outergateby wayof [the gate] that faceseast.And behold,waterwas tricklingfrom the southside.
And in that dayThe mountainswill dripwith sweetwine,And the hillswill flowwith milk,And allthe brooksof Judahwill flowwith water;And a springwill goout from the houseof the LORDTo waterthe valleyof Shittim.
"In that daya fountainwill be openedfor the houseof Davidand for the inhabitantsof Jerusalem,for sinand for impurity.
In that dayHis feetwill standon the Mountof Olives,whichis in frontof Jerusalemon the east;and the Mountof Oliveswill be splitin its middlefrom eastto westby a verylargevalley,so that halfof the mountainwill movetoward the northand the other halftoward the south.
And in that daylivingwaterswill flowout of Jerusalem,halfof them towardthe easternseaand the other halftowardthe westernsea;it will be in summeras well as in winter.
Thenhe showedme a riverof the waterof life,clearas crystal,comingfrom the throneof Godand of the Lamb,
The Spiritand the bridesay,"Come."And let the one who hearssay,"Come."And let the one who is thirstycome;let the one who wishestakethe waterof lifewithout cost.
