and did not allowme to kissmy sonsand my daughters?Nowyou have donefoolishly.
Now David'shearttroubledhim afterhe had numberedthe people.So Davidsaidto the LORD,"I have sinnedgreatlyin whatI have done.But now,O LORD,pleasetakeawaythe iniquityof Your servant,for I have actedveryfoolishly."
There was warbetweenAsaand Baashakingof Israelalltheir days.
"Remembernow,OLORD,I beseechYou, howI have walkedbeforeYou in truthand with a wholeheartand have donewhatis goodin Your sight."And Hezekiahweptbitterly.
Davidsaidto God,"I have sinnedgreatly,in that I have donethisthing.But now,pleasetakeawaythe iniquityof Your servant,for I have doneveryfoolishly."
But the highplaceswere not removedfrom Israel;neverthelessAsa'sheartwas blamelessallhis days.
And there was nomore waruntilthe thirty-fifthyearof Asa'sreign.
Then Asawas angrywith the seerand puthim in prison,for he was enragedat him for this.And Asaoppressedsomeof the peopleat the sametime.
Then he chargedthem saying,"Thusyou shall doin the fearof the LORD,faithfullyand wholeheartedly.
that Your eyemay be opentowardthishousedayand night,towardthe placeof whichYou have saidthat [You would] putYour namethere,to listento the prayerwhichYour servantshall praytowardthisplace.
But the eyeof their Godwas on the eldersof the Jews,and they did not stopthem untila reportcould cometo Darius,and thena writtenreplybe returnedconcerningit.
"For He looksto the endsof the earthAnd seeseverythingunderthe heavens.
"Does He not seemy waysAnd numberallmy steps?
"For His eyesare upon the waysof a man,And He seesallhis steps.
Who humblesHimself to behold[The things that are] in heavenand in the earth?
From His dwellingplaceHe looksout On allthe inhabitantsof the earth,
He who fashionsthe heartsof them all,He who understandsalltheir works.
Behold,the eyeof the LORDis on those who fearHim, On those who hopefor His lovingkindness,
The eyesof the LORDare towardthe righteousAnd His earsare [open] to their cry.
Markthe blamelessman,and beholdthe upright;For the manof peacewill have a posterity.
The eyesof the LORDare in everyplace,Watchingthe eviland the good.
For the waysof a manare beforethe eyesof the LORD,And He watchesallhis paths.
Woeto those who godownto Egyptfor help[And] relyon horses,And trustin chariotsbecausethey are manyAnd in horsemenbecausethey are verystrong,But they do not lookto the HolyOneof Israel,norseekthe LORD!
"For My eyesare on alltheir ways;they are not hiddenfrom My face,noris their iniquityconcealedfrom My eyes.
greatin counseland mightyin deed,whoseeyesare opento allthe waysof the sonsof men,givingto everyoneaccording to his waysand according to the fruitof his deeds;
"Roamto and frothrough the streetsof Jerusalem,And looknowand takenote.And seekin her opensquares,Ifyou can finda man,Ifthereis one who doesjustice,who seekstruth,Then I will pardonher.
Nowhearthis,O foolishand senselesspeople,Who have eyesbut do not see;Who have earsbut do not hear.
O LORD,do not Your eyes[look] for truth?You have smittenthem, [But] they did not weaken;You have consumedthem, But they refusedto takecorrection.They have madetheir facesharderthanrock;They have refusedto repent.
"For whohas despisedthe dayof smallthings?But thesesevenwill be gladwhen they seethe plumblinein the handof Zerubbabel--[these are] the eyesof the LORDwhichrangeto and frothroughoutthe earth."
"But I sayto you that everyonewho is angrywith his brothershall be guiltybefore the court;and whoeversaysto his brother,You good-for-nothing,'shall be guiltybefore the supreme court;and whoeversays,'You fool,'shall be guilty[enough to go] into the fieryhell.
"But Godsaidto him, 'You fool!This[very] nightyour soulis requiredof you; and [now] whowill own whatyou have prepared?'
You fool!That whichyou sowdoes not come to lifeunlessit dies;
You foolishGalatians,whohas bewitchedyou, beforewhoseeyesJesusChristwas publicly portrayed[as] crucified?
And there is nocreaturehiddenfrom His sight,but all thingsare openand laid bareto the eyesof Him with whomwe have to do.
"FOR THE EYESOF THE LORDARE TOWARDTHE RIGHTEOUS,AND HIS EARSATTEND TO THEIR PRAYER,BUT THE FACEOF THE LORDIS AGAINSTTHOSE WHO DOEVIL."
