Nowin a largehousethere are not onlygoldand silvervessels,but alsovessels of woodand of earthenware,and someto honorand someto dishonor.
and since [we have] a greatpriestoverthe houseof God,
But you have cometo MountZionand to the cityof the livingGod,the heavenlyJerusalem,and to myriadsof angels,
Take care,brethren,that there not be in any oneof you an evil,unbelievingheartthat falls awayfrom the livingGod.
how muchmorewill the bloodof Christ,whothroughthe eternalSpiritofferedHimselfwithout blemishto God,cleanseyour consciencefrom deadworksto servethe livingGod?
Joshuasaid,"By thisyou shall knowthat the livingGodis amongyou, and that He will assuredlydispossessfrom beforeyou the Canaanite,the Hittite,the Hivite,the Perizzite,the Girgashite,the Amorite,and the Jebusite.

Then Davidspoketo the menwho were standingby him, saying,"Whatwill be donefor the manwhokillsthisPhilistineand takesawaythe reproachfrom Israel?For whois thisuncircumcisedPhilistine,that he should tauntthe armiesof the livingGod?"
"Your servanthas killedboththe lionand the bear;and thisuncircumcisedPhilistinewill be like oneof them, sincehe has tauntedthe armiesof the livingGod."
