96 Verses about the Promise of the Kingdom of God

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.\par

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

{\cf6 The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, {\i then} cometh the evil {\i one}, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.

And it came to pass soon afterwards, that he went about through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good tidings of the kingdom of God, and with him the twelve,

and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil {\i one};

And it shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of Jehovah's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

And many peoples shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

Yet seek ye his kingdom, and these things shall be added unto you.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and {\i I saw} the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon {\i their} forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High: his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.

And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

And he said unto them, {\cf6 Unto you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables:

And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying,\par\tab Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night.

And Jesus said unto his disciples, {\cf6 Verily I say unto you, It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven.

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.}

And he said unto them, {\cf6 Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.}\par

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and men of violence take it by force.

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, {\cf6 Blessed {\i are} ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

{\cf6 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

and I appoint unto you a kingdom, even as my Father appointed unto me,

that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.\par

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein.}

to whom he also showed himself alive after his passion by many proofs, appearing unto them by the space of forty days, and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God:

for I say unto you, I shall not eat it, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.}

But when they believed Philip preaching good tidings concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and them that do iniquity,

Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,\par\tab And thy dominion {\i endureth} throughout all generations.

And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one.

Then shall {\b the righteous shine forth as the sun} in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.\par

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith Jehovah, so shall your seed and your name remain.

He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne.

Ask of me, and I will give {\i thee} the nations for thine inheritance,\par\tab And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.

But the multitudes perceiving it followed him: and he welcomed them, and spake to them of the kingdom of God, and them that had need of healing he cured.

Then {\i cometh} the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.

{\cf6 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.

And Jesus said unto them, {\cf6 Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.\par

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.\par

But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein.}\par

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.\par

And he said, Jesus, remember me when thou comest in thy kingdom.

And he said unto him, {\cf6 Verily I say unto thee, To-day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.}\par

But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then is the kingdom of God come upon you.

But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Jesus answered and said unto him, {\cf6 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

But seek ye first the kingdom {\i of God}, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

But Jesus said, {\cf6 Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven.}

Wherefore, receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may offer service well-pleasing to God with reverence and awe:

Hearken, my beloved brethren; did not God choose them that are poor as to the world {\i to be} rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to them that love him?

And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for {\i God's} own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Another parable set he before them, saying, {\cf6 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:

which indeed is less than all seeds; but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becometh a tree, so that {\b the birds of the heaven come and lodge in the branches thereof.}}\par

And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, {\cf6 The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.}\par

who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.

The kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hidden in the field; which a man found, and hid; and in his joy he goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.\par

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

and saying, {\cf6 The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the gospel.}\par

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

and said, {\cf6 Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said,\par\tab The kingdom of the world is become {\i the kingdom} of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever.

and he made us {\i to be} a kingdom, {\i to be} priests unto his God and Father; to him {\i be} the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, none forbidding him.\par

{\cf6 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that was a householder, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard.

The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom {\i be} the glory for ever and ever. Amen.\par

And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

Jehovah hath established his throne in the heavens;\par\tab And his kingdom ruleth over all.

But Jesus said unto him, {\cf6 No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.}\par

And Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease and all manner of sickness.

And he said unto them, {\cf6 Verily I say unto you, There are some here of them that stand {\i by}, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power.}\par

The law and the prophets {\i were} until John: from that time the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and every man entereth violently into it.

And he said unto them, {\cf6 Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or wife, or brethren, or parents, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,

who shall not receive manifold more in this time, and in the world to come eternal life.}\par

And he said, {\cf6 So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed upon the earth;

and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he knoweth not how.

The earth beareth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.

But when the fruit is ripe, straightway he putteth forth the sickle, because the harvest is come.}\par

but of the Son {\i he saith},\par\tab {\b Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever;\par\tab And the righteous sceptre is the sceptre of thy kingdom.}

And he said unto them, {\cf6 When ye pray, say, Father, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come.

for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.\par

Another parable spake he unto them; {\cf6 The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened.}\par

And he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

exhorting you, and encouraging {\i you}, and testifying, to the end that ye should walk worthily of God, who calleth you into his own kingdom and glory.\par

{\cf6 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took their own lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with {\i him}, that we may be also glorified with {\i him}.\par

Jesus answered, {\cf6 My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.}

and madest them {\i to be} unto our God a kingdom and priests; and they reign upon the earth.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.\par

And he answered and said unto them, {\cf6 Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
