Being in God's presence, enveloped by His sublime glory... it's an exquisite experience, unlike any other. Being filled by Him means knowing that a single moment in His presence is enough to be transformed, to never be the same again.
His glory changes you, restores you, heals you, sets you free, and takes you to deeper levels in your relationship with the Holy Spirit. That's why, every single day, you should yearn with all your strength, mind, and heart to be filled with His glory.
That's how you'll understand that the most important thing you have is God, and He becomes your greatest need. Encountering God's glory means knowing your sins will be exposed, every bit of hypocrisy revealed. You'll be there before Him, just as you are. But you know what? This glory won't destroy you or condemn you. Instead, it will draw out what's distorted, what's not genuine, and lead you to true repentance, to be conformed to the Father's heart and to be worthy of Christ.
Remember, this same glory will propel you forward. You won't need to strive in your own strength or promote yourself. Jesus will take you to places you can't even imagine because He's forming His character in you. He trusts you enough to reveal His mysteries to you and to position you before others.
It's by God's glory that you achieve all your goals, so that there's nothing in your heart to boast about, except knowing Jesus. Your only reason for boasting will be that good things are spoken of you in Heaven. As 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, "And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
And he said, Show me, I pray thee, thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and will proclaim the name of Jehovah before thee; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
