Patience is such a powerful gift from the Holy Spirit, and it's one of the most important qualities anyone can have. When you're patient, you can face tough times with strength and without complaining. Trusting God and waiting on Him means you won't miss out on His blessings, you'll never be ashamed, and you'll bring so much joy to His heart.
Before you rely on your own understanding, wait for guidance from the Almighty. He’ll lead you down the right path and take you to places that will truly bless your soul. Don't get discouraged when you see those who don't follow God seemingly prospering. Their lives lack true peace and security.
Have faith that through Jesus' power, your dreams will come true, and you'll find real peace. Patience is all about living calmly, trusting in God instead of worrying about tomorrow. If you feel like you're impatient and always need to be in control, take a step back and think about it. That kind of mindset can cause a lot of stress and even put your well-being at risk.
If being patient is a struggle, ask the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with patience. His love will wash over you, taking away your fears, doubts, and despair. You'll begin to rest in God and the power of His grace. Don't give up on doing what's right. In due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him:\par\tab Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,\par\tab Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.
He that is slow to anger is of great understanding;\par\tab But he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;\par\tab And he that ruleth his spirit, than he that taketh a city.
Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering;
For what glory is it, if, when ye sin, and are buffeted {\i for it}, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer {\i for it}, ye shall take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;
Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receive the early and latter rain.
{\b For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab I waited patiently for Jehovah;\par\tab And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that {\i hour} which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.\par
For evil-doers shall be cut off;\par\tab But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land.
preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith ye were called,with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
The servant therefore fell down and worshipped him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.And the lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:that with one accord ye may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way,\par\tab And he will exalt thee to inherit the land:\par\tab When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.\par
{\b For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab My soul waiteth in silence for God only:\par\tab From him {\i cometh} my salvation.He only is my rock and my salvation:\par\tab {\i He is} my high tower;\par\tab I shall not be greatly moved.
Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of {\i our} faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receive the early and latter rain.Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof; {\i and} the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
A wrathful man stirreth up contention;\par\tab But he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
Love suffereth long, {\i and} is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.\par
For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.
strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;giving thanks unto the Father, who made you meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;
Wait for Jehovah:\par\tab Be strong, and let thy heart take courage;\par\tab Yea, wait thou for Jehovah.\par
The discretion of a man maketh him slow to anger;\par\tab And it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
And the Lord's servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing,
Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:
In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.\par
strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;
And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;and stedfastness, approvedness; and approvedness, hope:
But thou, O Lord, art a God merciful and gracious,\par\tab Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.
fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
{\i I had fainted}, unless I had believed to see the goodness of Jehovah\par\tab In the land of the living.Wait for Jehovah:\par\tab Be strong, and let thy heart take courage;\par\tab Yea, wait thou for Jehovah.\par
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial among you, which cometh upon you to prove you, as though a strange thing happened unto you:but insomuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exceeding joy.
Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words?\par\tab There is more hope of a fool than of him.
And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all.
to them that by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and incorruption, eternal life:
In the day that I called thou answeredst me,\par\tab Thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.
Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart,\par\tab And lean not upon thine own understanding:In all thy ways acknowledge him,\par\tab And he will direct thy paths.
{\b For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab I waited patiently for Jehovah;\par\tab And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay;\par\tab And he set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
And therefore will Jehovah wait, that he may be gracious unto you; and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for Jehovah is a God of justice; blessed are all they that wait for him.
In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yea, God hath made the one side by side with the other, to the end that man should not find out anything {\i that shall be} after him.\par
Great peace have they that love thy law;\par\tab And they have no occasion of stumbling.
And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, {\i even} to them that are called according to {\i his} purpose.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.\par
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which {\i the Lord} promised to them that love him.
My flesh and my heart faileth;\par\tab {\i But} God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.
Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee;\par\tab For thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Then shalt thou call, and Jehovah will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am.\par\par\tab If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedly;
But even if ye should suffer for righteousness' sake, blessed {\i are ye}: {\b and fear not their fear, neither be troubled};
For his anger is but for a moment;\par\tab His favor is for a life-time:\par\tab Weeping may tarry for the night,\par\tab But joy {\i cometh} in the morning.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
Behold, we call them blessed that endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful.\par
Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble,\par\tab And he bringeth them out of their distresses.He maketh the storm a calm,\par\tab So that the waves thereof are still.Then are they glad because they are quiet;\par\tab So he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
But now thus saith Jehovah that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee; I have called thee by thy name, thou art mine.When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were servants of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto ye were delivered;and being made free from sin, ye became servants of righteousness.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him;\par\tab I will be with him in trouble:\par\tab I will deliver him, and honor him.
The thoughts of the diligent {\i tend} only to plenteousness;\par\tab But every one that is hasty {\i hasteth} only to want.
Trust in him at all times, ye people;\par\tab Pour out your heart before him:\par\tab God is a refuge for us. {\i Selah
looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of {\i our} faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
{\b For the Chief Musician. {\i A Psalm} of David the servant of Jehovah, who spake unto Jehovah the words of this song in the day that Jehovah delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: and he said,}\par\par\tab I love thee, O Jehovah, my strength.Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;\par\tab My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge;\par\tab My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and {\i such} we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
For Jehovah will not cast off his people,\par\tab Neither will he forsake his inheritance.
But whether we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which worketh in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer:
{\b YODH.}\par\par\tab Thy hands have made me and fashioned me:\par\tab Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
So then let us follow after things which make for peace, and things whereby we may edify one another.
And we desire that each one of you may show the same diligence unto the fulness of hope even to the end:that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.\par
My times are in thy hand:\par\tab Deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
Say not thou, I will recompense evil:\par\tab Wait for Jehovah, and he will save thee.
if so be that ye continue in the faith, grounded and stedfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven; whereof I Paul was made a minister.
Jehovah is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Jehovah.
Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience.And let patience have {\i its} perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.\par
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
