and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Lĕwites. Set yourselves apart, you and your brothers, then you shall bring up the ark of יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl to the place I have prepared for it.
and with them Hĕman and Yeḏuthun, to sound aloud with trumpets and cymbals and instruments for the songs of Elohim, and the sons of Yeḏuthun for the gate.
Asaph the chief, and his second Zeḵaryah, Ye‛i’ĕl, and Shemiramoth, and Yeḥi’ĕl, and Mattithyah, and Eliyaḇ, and Benayahu, and Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom, and Ye‛i’ĕl, with harps and lyres, but Asaph was sounding with cymbals;
and four thousand were gatekeepers, and four thousand to give praise to יהוה, “which I made for giving praise.”
And the Lĕwites, of the children of the Qehathites and of the children of the Qorḥites stood up to praise יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl with exceedingly loud voice.
Also the hand of Elohim was on Yehuḏah to give them one heart to do the command of the sovereign and the rulers, at the word of יהוה.
and the Lĕwite singers, all those of Asaph and Hĕman and Yeḏuthun, with their sons and their brothers, stood at the east end of the slaughter-place, dressed in white linen, having cymbals and harps and lyres, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets.

And at the dedication of the wall of Yerushalayim they sought out the Lĕwites in all their places, to bring them to Yerushalayim to perform the dedication with gladness, and with thanksgivings, and with singing, cymbals, harps and lyres.

And on that day they slaughtered great slaughterings and rejoiced, for Elohim had made them rejoice with great joy. And the women and the children also rejoiced, so that the joy of Yerushalayim was heard far away.
For in the days of Dawiḏ and Asaph of old there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to Elohim.
Let them praise His Name in a dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre.
Praise Him with sounding cymbals; Praise Him with resounding cymbals!
Shout for joy to Elohim our strength; Raise a shout to the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ.
Blow a shophar in the New Moon, in the covering for the day of our festival.
And the singers and the players on instruments – All my fountains, are in you.
Come, let us sing to יהוה! Let us raise a shout to the Rock of our deliverance.
And Miryam the prophetess, the sister of Aharon, took the timbrel in her hand. And all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
“And sovereigns shall be your foster fathers, and their sovereignesses your nursing mothers. They bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet. And you shall know that I am יהוה – those who wait for Me shall not be ashamed.”
the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who are saying, “Praise יהוה of hosts, for יהוה is good, for His loving-commitment is forever,” of those who are bringing the offering of praise into the House of יהוה. For I shall turn back the captivity of the land, as at the first,’ declares יהוה.
who are singing to the sound of the harp, having composed songs for themselves like Dawiḏ,
And having appointed elders in every assembly, having prayed with fasting, they committed them to the Master in whom they had believed.
And what you have heard from me among many witnesses, entrust these to trustworthy men who shall be competent to teach others as well.
