H7725If thou wilt return[H8799] H3478, O IsraelH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH7725, return[H8799] H5493unto me: and if thou wilt put away[H8686] H8251thine abominationsH6440out of my sightH5110, then shalt thou not remove[H8799] .

H7650And thou shalt swear[H8738] H3068, The LORDH2416livethH571, in truthH4941, in judgmentH6666, and in righteousnessH1471; and the nationsH1288shall bless[H8694] H1984themselves in him, and in him shall they glory[H8691] .

H559For thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH376to the menH3063of JudahH3389and JerusalemH5214, Break up[H8798] H5215your fallow groundH2232, and sow[H8799] H6975not among thorns.

H4135Circumcise[H8734] H3068yourselves to the LORDH5493, and take away[H8685] H6190the foreskinsH3824of your heartH376, ye menH3063of JudahH3427and inhabitants[H8802] H3389of JerusalemH2534: lest my furyH3318come forth[H8799] H784like fireH1197, and burn[H8804] H3518that none can quench[H8764] H6440it, becauseH7455of the evilH4611of your doings.

H5046Declare[H8685] H3063ye in JudahH8085, and publish[H8685] H3389in JerusalemH559; and say[H8798] H8628, Blow[H8798] H7782ye the trumpetH776in the landH7121: cry[H8798] H4390, gather together[H8761] H559, and say[H8798] H622, Assemble[H8734] H935yourselves, and let us go[H8799] H4013into the defencedH5892cities.

H5375Set up[H8798] H5251the standardH6726toward ZionH5756: retire[H8685] H5975, stay[H8799] H935not: for I will bring[H8688] H7451evilH6828from the northH1419, and a greatH7667destruction.

H738The lionH5927is come up[H8804] H5441from his thicketH7843, and the destroyer[H8688] H1471of the GentilesH5265is on his way[H8804] H3318; he is gone forth[H8804] H4725from his placeH7760to make[H8800] H776thy landH8047desolateH5892; and thy citiesH5327shall be laid waste[H8799] H3427, without an inhabitant[H8802] .

H2296For this gird[H8798] H8242you with sackclothH5594, lament[H8798] H3213and howl[H8685] H2740: for the fierceH639angerH3068of the LORDH7725is not turned back[H8804]  from us.

H3117And it shall come to pass at that dayH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH3820, that the heartH4428of the kingH6shall perish[H8799] H3820, and the heartH8269of the princesH3548; and the priestsH8074shall be astonished[H8738] H5030, and the prophetsH8539shall wonder[H8799] .

H559Then said[H8799] H162I, AhH136, LordH3069GODH403! surelyH5377thou hast greatly[H8687] H5377deceived[H8689] H5971this peopleH3389and JerusalemH559, saying[H8800] H7965, Ye shall have peaceH2719; whereas the swordH5060reacheth[H8804] H5315unto the soul.

H6256At that timeH559shall it be said[H8735] H5971to this peopleH3389and to JerusalemH6703, A dryH7307windH8205of the high placesH4057in the wildernessH1870towardH1323the daughterH5971of my peopleH2219, not to fan[H8800] H1305, nor to cleanse[H8687] ,

H4392Even a fullH7307windH935from those places shall come[H8799] H1696unto me: now also will I give[H8762] H4941sentence against them.

H5927Behold, he shall come up[H8799] H6051as cloudsH4818, and his chariotsH5492shall be as a whirlwindH5483: his horsesH7043are swifter[H8804] H5404than eaglesH188. WoeH7703unto us! for we are spoiled[H8795] .

H3389O JerusalemH3526, wash[H8761] H3820thine heartH7451from wickednessH3467, that thou mayest be saved[H8735] H205. How long shall thy vainH4284thoughtsH3885lodge[H8686] H7130within thee?

H6963For a voiceH5046declareth[H8688] H1835from DanH8085, and publisheth[H8688] H205afflictionH2022from mountH669Ephraim.

H2142Make ye mention[H8685] H1471to the nationsH8085; behold, publish[H8685] H3389against JerusalemH5341, that watchers[H8802] H935come[H8802] H4801from a farH776countryH5414, and give out[H8799] H6963their voiceH5892against the citiesH3063of Judah.

H8104As keepers[H8802] H7704of a fieldH5439, are they against her round aboutH4784; because she hath been rebellious[H8804] H5002against me, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

H1870Thy wayH4611and thy doingsH6213have procured[H8804] H7451these things unto thee; this is thy wickednessH4751, because it is bitterH5060, because it reacheth[H8804] H3820unto thine heart.

H4578My bowelsH4578, my bowelsH2342! I am pained[H8799] [H8675] H3176 [H8686] H7023at my veryH3820heartH3820; my heartH1993maketh a noise[H8802] H2790in me; I cannot hold my peace[H8686] H8085, because thou hast heard[H8804] H5315, O my soulH6963, the soundH7782of the trumpetH8643, the alarmH4421of war.

H7667DestructionH7667upon destructionH7121is cried[H8738] H776; for the whole landH7703is spoiled[H8795] H6597: suddenlyH168are my tentsH7703spoiled[H8795] H3407, and my curtainsH7281in a moment.

H7200How long shall I see[H8799] H5251the standardH8085, and hear[H8799] H6963the soundH7782of the trumpet?

H5971For my peopleH191is foolishH3045, they have not known[H8804] H5530me; they are sottishH1121childrenH995, and they have none understanding[H8737] H2450: they are wiseH7489to do evil[H8687] H3190, but to do good[H8687] H3045they have no knowledge[H8804] .

H7200I beheld[H8804] H776the earthH8414, and, lo, it was without formH922, and voidH8064; and the heavensH216, and they had no light.

H7200I beheld[H8804] H2022the mountainsH7493, and, lo, they trembled[H8801] H1389, and all the hillsH7043moved lightly[H8701] .

H7200I beheld[H8804] H120, and, lo, there was no manH5775, and all the birdsH8064of the heavensH5074were fled[H8804] .

H7200I beheld[H8804] H3759, and, lo, the fruitful placeH4057was a wildernessH5892, and all the citiesH5422thereof were broken down[H8738] H6440at the presenceH3068of the LORDH2740, and by his fierceH639anger.

H3068For thus hath the LORDH559said[H8804] H776, The whole landH8077shall be desolateH6213; yet will I not make[H8799] H3617a full end.

H776For this shall the earthH56mourn[H8799] H8064, and the heavensH4605aboveH6937be black[H8804] H1696: because I have spoken[H8765] H2161it, I have purposed[H8804] H5162it, and will not repent[H8738] H7725, neither will I turn back[H8799]  from it.

H5892The whole cityH1272shall flee[H8802] H6963for the noiseH6571of the horsemenH7198and bowmenH7411 [H8802] H935; they shall go[H8804] H5645into thicketsH5927, and climb up[H8804] H3710upon the rocksH5892: every cityH5800shall be forsaken[H8803] H376, and not a manH3427dwell[H8802] H2004therein.

H7703And when thou art spoiled[H8803] H6213, what wilt thou do[H8799] H3847? Though thou clothest[H8799] H8144thyself with crimsonH5710, though thou deckest[H8799] H5716thee with ornamentsH2091of goldH7167, though thou rentest[H8799] H5869thy faceH6320with paintingH7723, in vainH3302shalt thou make thyself fair[H8691] H5689; thy lovers[H8802] H3988will despise[H8804] H1245thee, they will seek[H8762] H5315thy life.

H8085For I have heard[H8804] H6963a voiceH2470as of a woman in travail[H8802] H6869, and the anguishH1069as of her that bringeth forth her first child[H8688] H6963, the voiceH1323of the daughterH6726of ZionH3306, that bewaileth[H8691] H6566herself, that spreadeth[H8762] H3709her handsH188, saying, WoeH5315is me now! for my soulH5888is wearied[H8804] H2026because of murderers[H8802] .
