³ H7650And I will make thee swear[H8686] H3068by the LORDH430, the GodH8064of heavenH430, and the GodH776of the earthH3947, that thou shalt not take[H8799] H802a wifeH1121unto my sonH1323of the daughtersH3669of the CanaanitesH7130, amongH3427whom I dwell[H8802] :

⁴ H3212But thou shalt go[H8799] H776unto my countryH4138, and to my kindredH3947, and take[H8804] H802a wifeH1121unto my sonH3327Isaac.

⁵ H5650And the servantH559said[H8799] H802unto him, Peradventure the womanH14will not be willing[H8799] H3212to follow[H8800] H310meH776unto this landH7725: must I needs bring[H8687] H1121thy sonH7725again[H8686] H776unto the landH3318from whence thou camest[H8804] ?

¹⁶ H5291And the damselH3966was veryH2896fairH4758to look uponH1330, a virginH376, neither had any manH3045known[H8804] H3381her: and she went down[H8799] H5869to the wellH4390, and filled[H8762] H3537her pitcherH5927, and came up[H8799] .

¹⁷ H5650And the servantH7323ran[H8799] H7125to meet her[H8800] H559, and said[H8799] H1572, Let me, I pray thee, drink[H8685] H4592a littleH4325waterH3537of thy pitcher.

¹⁸ H559And she said[H8799] H8354, Drink[H8798] H113, my lordH4116: and she hasted[H8762] H3381, and let down[H8686] H3537her pitcherH3027upon her handH8248, and gave him drink[H8686] .

³⁵ H3068And the LORDH1288hath blessed[H8765] H113my masterH3966greatlyH1431; and he is become great[H8799] H5414: and he hath given[H8799] H6629him flocksH1241, and herdsH3701, and silverH2091, and goldH5650, and menservantsH8198, and maidservantsH1581, and camelsH2543, and asses.

³⁶ H8283And SarahH113my master'sH802wifeH3205bare[H8799] H1121a sonH113to my masterH310whenH2209she was oldH5414: and unto him hath he given[H8799]  all that he hath.

³⁷ H113And my masterH7650made me swear[H8686] H559, saying[H8800] H3947, Thou shalt not take[H8799] H802a wifeH1121to my sonH1323of the daughtersH3669of the CanaanitesH776, in whose landH3427I dwell[H8802] :

⁴⁰ H559And he said[H8799] H3068unto me, The LORDH6440, beforeH1980whom I walk[H8694] H7971, will send[H8799] H4397his angelH6743with thee, and prosper[H8689] H1870thy wayH3947; and thou shalt take[H8804] H802a wifeH1121for my sonH4940of my kindredH1, and of my father'sH1004house:

⁴¹ H5352Then shalt thou be clear[H8735] H423from this my oathH935, when thou comest[H8799] H4940to my kindredH5414; and if they give[H8799] H5355not thee one, thou shalt be clearH423from my oath.

⁴² H935And I came[H8799] H3117this dayH5869unto the wellH559, and said[H8799] H3068, O LORDH430GodH113of my masterH85AbrahamH3426, if now thou doH6743prosper[H8688] H1870my wayH1980which I go[H8802] :

⁴³ H5324Behold, I stand[H8737] H5869by the wellH4325of waterH5959; and it shall come to pass, that when the virginH3318cometh forth[H8802] H7579to draw[H8800] H559water, and I say[H8804] H8248to her, Give meH4592, I pray thee, a littleH4325waterH3537of thy pitcherH8248to drink[H8685] ;

⁴⁴ H559And she say[H8804] H8354to me, Both drink[H8798] H7579thou, and I will also draw[H8799] H1581for thy camelsH802: let the same be the womanH3068whom the LORDH3198hath appointed out[H8689] H113for my master'sH1121son.

⁴⁵ H3615And before I had done[H8762] H1696speaking[H8763] H3820in mine heartH7259, behold, RebekahH3318came forth[H8802] H3537with her pitcherH7926on her shoulderH3381; and she went down[H8799] H5869unto the wellH7579, and drew[H8799] H559water : and I said[H8799] H8248unto her, Let me drink[H8685] , I pray thee.

⁴⁶ H4116And she made haste[H8762] H3381, and let down[H8686] H3537her pitcherH559from her shoulder, and said[H8799] H8354, Drink[H8798] H8248, and I will giveH1581thy camelsH8248drink[H8686] H8354also: so I drank[H8799] H8248, and she madeH1581the camelsH8248drink[H8689]  also.

⁴⁷ H7592And I asked[H8799] H559her, and said[H8799] H1323, Whose daughterH559art thou? And she said[H8799] H1323, The daughterH1328of BethuelH5152, Nahor'sH1121sonH4435, whom MilcahH3205bare[H8804] H7760unto him: and I put[H8799] H5141the earringH639upon her faceH6781, and the braceletsH3027upon her hands.

⁴⁸ H6915And I bowed down my head[H8799] H7812, and worshipped[H8691] H3068the LORDH1288, and blessed[H8762] H3068the LORDH430GodH113of my masterH85AbrahamH5148, which had led me[H8689] H571in the rightH1870wayH3947to take[H8800] H113my master'sH251brother'sH1323daughterH1121unto his son.

⁴⁹ H3426And now if ye willH6213deal[H8802] H2617kindlyH571and trulyH113with my masterH5046, tell[H8685] H5046me: and if not, tell[H8685] H6437me; that I may turn[H8799] H3225to the right handH176, orH8040to the left.

⁵⁰ H3837Then LabanH1328and BethuelH6030answered[H8799] H559and said[H8799] H1697, The thingH3318proceedeth[H8804] H3068from the LORDH3201: we cannot[H8799] H1696speak[H8763] H7451unto thee badH176orH2896good.

⁵¹ H7259Behold, RebekahH6440is before theeH3947, take[H8798] H3212her, and go[H8798] H113, and let her be thy master'sH1121son'sH802wifeH3068, as the LORDH1696hath spoken[H8765] .

⁵² H85And it came to pass, that, when Abraham'sH5650servantH8085heard[H8804] H1697their wordsH7812, he worshipped[H8691] H3068the LORDH776, bowing himself to the earth.

⁵³ H5650And the servantH3318brought forth[H8686] H3627jewelsH3701of silverH3627, and jewelsH2091of goldH899, and raimentH5414, and gave[H8799] H7259them to RebekahH5414: he gave[H8804] H251also to her brotherH517and to her motherH4030precious things.

⁵⁴ H398And they did eat[H8799] H8354and drink[H8799] H582, he and the menH3885that were with him, and tarried all night[H8799] H6965; and they rose up[H8799] H1242in the morningH559, and he said[H8799] H7971, Send me away[H8761] H113unto my master.

⁵⁷ H559And they said[H8799] H7121, We will call[H8799] H5291the damselH7592, and enquire[H8799] H6310at her mouth.

⁵⁸ H7121And they called[H8799] H7259RebekahH559, and said[H8799] H3212unto her, Wilt thou go[H8799] H376with this manH559? And she said[H8799] H3212, I will go[H8799] .

⁵⁹ H7971And they sent away[H8762] H7259RebekahH269their sisterH3243, and her nurse[H8688] H85, and Abraham'sH5650servantH582, and his men.

⁶⁰ H1288And they blessed[H8762] H7259RebekahH559, and said[H8799] H859unto her, ThouH269art our sisterH1961, be thou[H8798] H505the mother of thousandsH7233of millionsH2233, and let thy seedH3423possess[H8799] H8179the gateH8130of those which hate[H8802]  them.

⁶¹ H7259And RebekahH6965arose[H8799] H5291, and her damselsH7392, and they rode[H8799] H1581upon the camelsH3212, and followed[H8799] H310 H376the manH5650: and the servantH3947took[H8799] H7259RebekahH3212, and went his way[H8799] .

⁶² H3327And IsaacH935came[H8804] H935from the way[H8800] H883of the well LahairoiH3427; for he dwelt[H8802] H5045in the southH776country.

⁶³ H3327And IsaacH3318went out[H8799] H7742to meditate[H8800] H7704in the fieldH6437at[H8800] H6153the eventideH5375: and he lifted up[H8799] H5869his eyesH7200, and saw[H8799] H1581, and, behold, the camelsH935were coming[H8802] .

⁶⁴ H7259And RebekahH5375lifted up[H8799] H5869her eyesH7200, and when she saw[H8799] H3327IsaacH5307, she lighted[H8799] H5921offH1581the camel.

⁶⁵ H559For she had said[H8799] H5650unto the servantH4310, WhatH376manH1976is thisH1980that walketh[H8802] H7704in the fieldH7125to meet us[H8800] H5650? And the servantH559had said[H8799] H113, It is my masterH3947: therefore she took[H8799] H6809a vailH3680, and covered herself[H8691] .

⁶⁷ H3327And IsaacH935brought her[H8686] H517into his motherH8283Sarah'sH168tentH3947, and took[H8799] H7259RebekahH802, and she became his wifeH157; and he loved[H8799] H3327her: and IsaacH5162was comforted[H8735] H310afterH517his mother's death .
