ʜᴇ said to Adam, “Because you have listened to your woman’s voice, and have eaten from the tree, about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You must not eat of it,’ the ground is cursed for your sake. You will eat from it with much labor all the days of your life.


From now on, when you cultivate the ground, it won’t yield its strength to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth.”


He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which YHWH has cursed.”


God said to Noah, “I will bring an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Watch, I will destroy them and the earth.


I will bring the flood of waters on this earth to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is in the earth will die.


YHWH saw that the wickedness of humanity was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of the human heart was continually only evil.


YHWH said, “I will destroy humanity whom I have created from the surface of the ground—humans, along with animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky—for I am sorry that I have made them.”


Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.


Surely, I was born in iniquity. My mother conceived me in sin.


The wicked go astray from the womb. They are wayward as soon as they are born, speaking lies.


Their poison is like the poison of a snake, like a deaf cobra that stops its ear,


You are to burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to YHWH; it is a pleasant aroma, a food offering for YHWH.

Who can say, “I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?”


Surely there is not a righteous person on earth who does good and never sins.


“Stand now with your enchantments and with the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth, as if you might profit, as if you might prevail.


The things that you labored in will be like this: those who have trafficked with you from your youth will each wander in his own way. There will be no one to save you.


Indeed, you did not hear. and you did not understand. Even long ago, your ear was not opened, for I knew how treacherous-treacherous you are, and were called a rebel from the womb.

What is born of the flesh is flesh. What is born of the Spirit is spirit.


For though they knew God, they didn’t glorify him as God and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless hearts were darkened.


for all have sinned and fail to meet the glory of God,


For we are to God a pleasing fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.


Y’all walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.


But I have received everything, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what y’all sent. It is a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and pleasing sacrifice to God.


We know that we are of God, and the whole world is lying before the evil one.


Now therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is so that YHWH has stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, they are cursed before YHWH; for they have driven me out today that I shouldn’t cling to YHWH’s inheritance, saying, ‘Go, serve other gods!’
