Praise the Lord, all of his servants!\par You servants served in the temple all night.\par
My heart breaks as I remember\par \{the good times I had at the temple\}:\par \{I remember\} passing through the crowds\par as I led them all up to God’s temple.\par \{I remember\} the happy songs of praise\par as the crowds celebrated the festivals.\par
We used to share our secrets with one another,\par as we walked through the crowds together in God’s temple. {\cf2\super [328]} \par
God, you save us.\par Good people pray to you,\par and you answer their prayers.\par You do amazing things for them.\par People all around the world trust you.\par
Be happy and sing to God our strength.\par Shout with joy to the God of Israel.\par
My soul wants to be with you at night.\par And the spirit in me wants to be with you\par at the dawning of every new day.\par When your way of justice comes to the land,\par people will learn the right way of living.\par
“In the future, I will make this Agreement {\cf2\super [261]} with the people of Israel.” This message is from the Lord. “I will put my teachings in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
There will be a time when watchmen {\cf2\super [245]} \par shout this message:\par ‘Come, let’s go up to Zion {\cf2\super [246]} \par to worship the Lord our God!’\par Even the watchmen in the hill country of Ephraim {\cf2\super [247]} will shout that message.”\par
People from many nations will go there.\par They will say,\par “Come, let’s go up to the Lord’s mountain.\par Let’s go to the temple of the God of Jacob.\par Then God will teach us his way of living.\par And we will follow him.”\par
The Lord will make his people strong. And they will live for him and his name. The Lord said these things.
But the Lord said to me, “My grace (kindness) is enough for you. When you are weak, then my power is made perfect in you.” So I am very happy to boast about my weaknesses. Then Christ’s power can live in me.
