Psalm 65 - Easy To Read Version

¹ God on Zion, {\cf2\super [375]} I praise you.\par I give you the things I promised.\par

² We tell about the things you have done.\par And you hear our prayers.\par You hear the prayers of every person who comes to you.\par

³ When our sins become too heavy for us,\par you take away those sins.\par

⁴ God, you chose your people.\par You chose us to come to your temple\par and worship you.\par And we are very happy!\par We have all the wonderful things\par in your temple, your holy palace.\par

⁵ God, you save us.\par Good people pray to you,\par and you answer their prayers.\par You do amazing things for them.\par People all around the world trust you.\par

⁶ God made the mountains with his power.\par We see his power all around us.\par

⁷ God made the rough seas calm.\par And God made the “oceans” of people on the earth.\par

⁸ People all around the world\par are amazed at the wonderful things you do.\par The sunrise and sunset makes us so happy!\par

⁹ You take care of the land.\par You water it and make it grow things.\par God, you fill the streams with water\par and make the crops grow.\par

¹⁰ You pour the rain on the plowed fields.\par You soak the fields with water.\par You make the ground soft with rain,\par and you make the young plants grow.\par

¹¹ You start the new year with a good harvest.\par You load the wagons with many crops. {\cf2\super [376]} \par

¹² The desert and hills are covered with grass.\par

¹³ The pastures are covered with sheep.\par The valleys are filled with grain.\par Everyone is singing and shouting with happiness.\par
