As long as the earth continues, there will always be a time for planting and a time for harvest. There will always be cold and hot, summer and winter, day and night on earth.”


“Job, did you ever in your life\par command the morning to start\par or the day to begin?\par


God stopped the storm.\par He calmed the waves.\par


We will be laughing\par and singing happy songs!\par People in other nations will say,\par “The Lord did a wonderful thing\par for the people of Israel.”\par


God did many wonders and miracles\par in Egypt.\par God made those things happen\par to Pharaoh and his officials.\par


God made the sun to rule the day.\par His true love continues forever.\par


Sun and moon, praise the Lord!\par Stars and lights in the sky, praise him!\par


The sun comes out like a happy bridegroom from his bedroom.\par The sun begins its path across the sky\par like an athlete eager to run his race.\par


If you ask me,\par I will give the nations to you.\par All the people on earth will be yours!\par


The pastures are covered with sheep.\par The valleys are filled with grain.\par Everyone is singing and shouting with happiness.\par

And be careful when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon, and the stars—all the many things in the sky. Be careful that you are not tempted to worship and serve those things. The Lord your God lets the other people in the world do those things.


At that same time there was a great earthquake. One tenth of the city was destroyed. And 7,000 people were killed in the earthquake. The people that did not die were very afraid. They gave glory to the God of heaven.
