If you are going to treat me like this, please kill me here and now, if I have found favour with you, and don’t let me see my misery any more.’
‘Aaron will be gathered to his people; he will not enter the land I have given the Israelites, because you both rebelled against my command at the Waters of Meribah.
When the community quarrelled in the Wilderness of Zin, both of you rebelled against my command to demonstrate my holiness in their sight at the waters.’ Those were the Waters of Meribah-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin.

for the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

‘Moses my servant is dead. Now you and all the people prepare to cross over the Jordan to the land I am giving the Israelites.
but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, ready at any time to give a defence to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.
