The mind of the righteous person thinks before answering, but the mouth of the wicked blurts out evil things.


in order to teach you true and reliable words, so that you may give a dependable report  , to those who sent you?


‘Come, let’s settle this,’ says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are crimson red, they will be like wool.


For when he sees his children, the work of my hands within his nation, they will honour my name, they will honour the Holy One of Jacob and stand in awe of the God of Israel.


‘Submit your case,’ says the  Lord. ‘Present your arguments,’ says Jacob’s King.


But the Lord of Armies is exalted by his justice, and the holy God  demonstrates his holiness through his righteousness.


Do not call everything a conspiracy that these people say is a conspiracy. Do not fear what they fear; do not be terrified.


But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, ‘Because you did not trust me to demonstrate my holiness in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this assembly into the land I have given them.’


When the community quarrelled in the Wilderness of Zin, both of you rebelled against my command to demonstrate my holiness in their sight at the waters.’ Those were the Waters of Meribah-kadesh  in the Wilderness of Zin.


Paul said, ‘I am a Jewish man from Tarsus of Cilicia,  a citizen of an important city. Now I ask you, let me speak to the people.’


Now as he spoke about righteousness, self-control, and the judgement to come,  Felix became afraid and replied, ‘Leave for now, but when I have an opportunity I’ll call for you.’


if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith  and are not shifted away from the hope  of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has been proclaimed in all creation  under heaven,  and I, Paul,  have become a servant of it.


God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ  in you, the hope  of glory.


because of the hope reserved for you in heaven. You have already heard about this hope in the word of truth,  the gospel


Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt,  so that you may know how you should answer each person.


in the hope of eternal life  that God, who cannot lie,  promised before time began.


But Christ was faithful as a Son over his household. And we are that household if we hold on to our confidence and the hope in which we boast.  ,


Therefore, let us leave the elementary teaching about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, faith in God,


If you appeal to the Father who judges impartially  according to each one’s work,  you are to conduct yourselves in reverence  during your time living as strangers.


when they observe your pure, reverent lives.


but rather what is inside the heart  ,  #– #the imperishable quality of a gentle  and quiet  spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.


Now present yourselves, so I may confront you before the Lord about all the righteous acts he has done for you and your ancestors.
