The Canaanite border went from Sidon going towards Gerar as far as Gaza, and going towards Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim as far as Lasha.


They captured the Hagrites’ livestock #– #fifty thousand of their camels, two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, and two thousand donkeys #– #as well as one hundred thousand people.


with 1,200 chariots, 60,000 cavalry, and countless people who came with him from Egypt #– #Libyans,  Sukkiim, and Cushites.


and the men of Judah raised the battle cry. When the men of Judah raised the battle cry, God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.


At that time they sacrificed to the Lord seven hundred cattle and seven thousand sheep and goats from all the plunder they had brought.


The moment they began their shouts and praises, the Lord set an ambush  against the Ammonites, Moabites, and the inhabitants of Mount Seir who came to fight against Judah, and they were defeated.


At the end of 430 years, on that same day, all the Lord’s military divisions went out from the land of Egypt.


On that same day the Lord brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt according to their military divisions.


He caused their chariot wheels to swerve  , and made them drive  with difficulty. ‘Let’s get away from Israel,’ the Egyptians said, ‘because the Lord is fighting for them against Egypt! ’


Israelites, are you not like the Cushites to me? This is the  Lord’s declaration. Didn’t I bring Israel from the land of Egypt, the Philistines from Caphtor,  , and the Arameans from Kir?


But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory  through our Lord Jesus Christ!


So I do not run like one who runs aimlessly or box like one beating the air.


‘The Lord will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you. They will march out against you from one direction but flee from you in seven directions.


See now that I alone am he; there is no God but me. I bring death and I give life; I wound and I heal. No one can rescue anyone from my power.


The Lord threw them into confusion  before Israel. He defeated them in a great slaughter at Gibeon, chased them along the ascent of Beth-horon, and struck them down as far as Azekah and Makkedah.
