You with Your own handdroveout the nations;Then You plantedthem; You afflictedthe peoples,Then You spreadthem abroad.
Goforthfrom Babylon!Fleefrom the Chaldeans!Declarewith the soundof joyfulshouting,proclaimthis,Sendit out to the endof the earth;Say,"The LORDhas redeemedHis servantJacob."
"Ho!Everyonewho thirsts,cometo the waters;And you whohavenomoneycome,buyand eat.Come,buywineand milkWithoutmoneyand withoutcost.
Then the LORDsaidto me, "Out of the norththe evilwill breakforthon allthe inhabitantsof the land.
"I will makethem an objectof horroramong allthe kingdomsof the earthbecauseof Manasseh,the sonof Hezekiah,the kingof Judah,for whathe didin Jerusalem.
"In thosedaysthe houseof Judahwill walkwith the houseof Israel,and they will cometogetherfrom the landof the northto the landthat I gaveyour fathersas an inheritance.
Hearthe wordof the LORD,O nations,And declarein the coastlandsafaroff,And say,"He who scatteredIsraelwill gatherhim And keephim as a shepherdkeeps his flock."
"Behold,daysare coming,"declaresthe LORD,"when the citywill be rebuiltfor the LORDfrom the Towerof Hananelto the CornerGate.
"Behold,I am bringingthem from the northcountry,And I will gatherthem from the remotepartsof the earth,Among them the blindand the lame,The womanwith childand she who is in laborwith child, together;A greatcompany,they will returnhere.
"Wanderaway from the midstof BabylonAnd goforthfrom the landof the Chaldeans;Be also like malegoatsat the headof the flock.
"Comeforthfrom her midst,My people,And eachof you saveyourselvesFrom the fierceangerof the LORD.
You whohave escapedthe sword,Depart!Do not stay!Rememberthe LORDfrom afar,And let Jerusalemcometo your mind.
Fleefrom the midstof Babylon,And eachof you savehis life!Do not be destroyedin her punishment,For thisis the LORD'Stimeof vengeance;He is going to renderrecompenseto her.

"But as soon as he has arisen,his kingdomwill be brokenup and parceledout toward the fourpointsof the compass,though not to his [own] descendants,noraccording to his authoritywhichhe wielded,for his sovereigntywill be uprootedand [given] to othersbesidesthem.
"For behold,I am commanding,And I will shakethe houseof Israelamong allnationsAs [grain] is shakenin a sieve,But not a kernelwill fallto the ground.
Thereforethussaysthe LORD,"I will returnto Jerusalemwith compassion;My housewill be builtin it," declaresthe LORDof hosts,"and a measuringlinewill be stretchedoverJerusalem."'

"Moreover, the LORDwill scatteryou among allpeoples,from one endof the earthto the other endof the earth;and thereyou shall serveothergods,woodand stone,whichyou or your fathershave not known.
I heardanothervoicefrom heaven,saying,"Comeout of her, my people,sothat you will not participatein her sinsand receiveof her plagues;
Now Boazwentup to the gateand satdownthere,and behold,the closerelativeof whomBoazspokewas passingby, so he said,"Turnaside,friend,sitdownhere."And he turnedasideand satdown.
