Afterthese thingsI looked,and behold,a greatmultitudewhichno onecouldcount,from everynationand [all] tribesand peoplesand tongues,standingbeforethe throneand beforethe Lamb,clothedin whiterobes,and palm branches[were] in their hands;
"I will makeyour descendantsas the dustof the earth,sothat ifanyonecannumberthe dustof the earth,then your descendantscan alsobe numbered.
"The sceptershall not departfrom Judah,Northe ruler'sstafffrom betweenhis feet,UntilShilohcomes,And to him [shall be] the obedienceof the peoples.
Askof Me, and I will surely givethe nationsas Your inheritance,And the [very] endsof the earthas Your possession.
Allthe endsof the earthwill rememberand turnto the LORD,And allthe familiesof the nationswill worshipbeforeYou.
You are resplendent,Moremajesticthanthe mountainsof prey.
In the dayof my troubleI soughtthe Lord;In the nightmy handwas stretchedout withoutweariness;My soulrefusedto be comforted.
He has rememberedHis lovingkindnessand His faithfulnessto the houseof Israel;Allthe endsof the earthhave seenthe salvationof our God.
O LORD,my strengthand my stronghold,And my refugein the dayof distress,To You the nationswill comeFrom the endsof the earthand say,"Our fathershave inheritednothingbut falsehood,Futilityand thingsof noprofit."
"At that timethey will callJerusalemThe Throneof the LORD,'and allthe nationswill be gatheredto it, to Jerusalem,for the nameof the LORD;norwill they walkanymoreafterthe stubbornnessof their evilheart.
Again he measureda thousand;[and it was] a riverthat I couldnot ford,for the waterhad risen,[enough] waterto swimin, a riverthat could not be forded.
Nebuchadnezzarthe kingto allthe peoples,nations,and [men of every] languagethat livein allthe earth:"May your peaceabound!
ThenDariusthe kingwroteto allthe peoples,nationsand [men of every] languagewhowere livingin allthe land:"May your peaceabound!
Yet the numberof the sonsof IsraelWill be like the sandof the sea,Whichcannotbe measuredor numbered;And in the placeWhereit is saidto them, "You are not My people,"It will be saidto them, "[You are] the sonsof the livingGod."
Now on the firstdayyou shall takefor yourselves the foliageof beautifultrees,palmbranchesand boughsof leafytreesand willowsof the brook,and you shall rejoicebeforethe LORDyour Godfor sevendays.
"I will whistlefor them to gatherthem together, For I have redeemedthem; And they will be as numerousas they were before.
"Manynationswill jointhemselves to the LORDin that dayand will becomeMy people.Then I will dwellin your midst,and you will knowthat the LORDof hostshas sentMe to you.
Underthesecircumstances,after so many thousandsof peoplehad gathered togetherthat they were steppingon one another,He begansayingto His disciplesfirst[of all, ]"Bewareof the leavenof the Pharisees,whichis hypocrisy.
"But keep on the alertat alltimes,prayingthat you may have strengthto escapeallthese thingsthat are aboutto take place,and to standbeforethe Sonof Man."
tookthe branchesof the palm treesand wentout to meetHim, and [began] to shout,"Hosanna!BLESSEDIS HE WHO COMESIN THE NAMEOF THE LORD,eventhe Kingof Israel."
For I do not wantyou, brethren,to be uninformedof thismystery--sothat you will not be wisein your own estimation--that a partialhardeninghas happenedto Israeluntilthe fullnessof the Gentileshas comein;
Therefore,takeup the full armorof God,sothat you will be ableto resistin the evilday,and having doneeverything,to stand firm.
Thereforethere was bornevenof one man,and him as good as deadat that, [as many descendants] AS THE STARSOF HEAVENIN NUMBER,AND INNUMERABLEAS THE SANDWHICH IS BY THE SEASHORE.
But you have cometo MountZionand to the cityof the livingGod,the heavenlyJerusalem,and to myriadsof angels,
Thenthe seventhangelsounded;and there were loudvoicesin heaven,saying,"The kingdomof the worldhas become[the kingdom] of our Lordand of His Christ;and He will reignforeverand ever."
There will nolongerbe anycurse;and the throneof Godand of the Lambwill be in it, and His bond-servantswill serveHim;
I adviseyou to buyfrom Me goldrefinedby firesothat you may become rich,and whitegarmentssothat you may clotheyourself, and [that] the shameof your nakednesswill not be revealed;and eye salveto anointyour eyessothat you may see.
Aroundthe throne[were] twenty-fourthrones;and upon the thrones[I saw] twenty-fourelderssitting,clothedin whitegarments,and goldencrownson their heads.
ThenI looked,and I heardthe voiceof manyangelsaroundthe throneand the living creaturesand the elders;and the numberof them was myriadsof myriads,and thousandsof thousands,
And they sanga newsong,saying,"Worthyare You to takethe bookand to breakits seals;for You were slain,and purchasedfor Godwith Your blood[men] from everytribeand tongueand peopleand nation.
And there was givento eachof them a whiterobe;and they were toldthat they should restfor a littlewhilelonger,until[the number of] their fellow servantsand their brethrenwho were to be killedevenas they had been, would be completedalso.
from the tribeof Zebuluntwelvethousand,from the tribeof Josephtwelvethousand,from the tribeof Benjamin,twelvethousand[were] sealed.
