and I said,"O my God,I am ashamedand embarrassedto liftup my faceto You, my God,for our iniquitieshave risenaboveour headsand our guilthas grownevento the heavens.
"But He has mademe a bywordof the people,And I amone at whom men spit.
Becausefor Your sakeI have bornereproach;Dishonorhas coveredmy face.
Let those who are adversariesof my soulbe ashamed[and] consumed;Let them be coveredwith reproachand dishonor,who seekto injureme.
You have shortenedthe daysof his youth;You have coveredhim with shame.Selah.
