Turnawaymy reproachwhichI dread,For Your ordinancesare good.

My eyesfail[with longing] for Your salvationAnd for Your righteousword.
I openedmy mouthwideand panted,For I longedfor Your commandments.
My soulis crushedwith longingAfterYour ordinancesat alltimes.
Takeawayreproachand contemptfrom me, For I observeYour testimonies.
I clingto Your testimonies;O LORD,do not putme to shame!
And do not takethe wordof truthutterlyout of my mouth,For I waitfor Your ordinances.
I know,O LORD,that Your judgmentsare righteous,And that in faithfulnessYou have afflictedme.
The fearof the LORDis clean,enduringforever;The judgmentsof the LORDare true;they are righteousaltogether.
"Deliverme from allmy transgressions;Makeme not the reproachof the foolish.
He will sendfrom heavenand saveme; He reproacheshim who tramplesupon me. Selah.Godwill sendforth His lovingkindnessand His truth.
Orhe who hears[it] will reproachyou, And the evilreportabout you will not passaway.
Indeed,[while following] the wayof Your judgments,O LORD,We have waitedfor You eagerly;Your name,even Your memory,is the desireof [our] souls.
And we knowthat the judgmentof Godrightlyfallsupon thosewho practicesuch things.
"Or whatgreatnationis there that has statutesand judgmentsas righteousas thiswholelawwhichI am settingbeforeyou today?
And he musthavea goodreputationwith thoseoutside[the church], sothat he will not fallinto reproachand the snareof the devil.
Therefore,I wantyounger[widows] to get married,bear children,keep house,[and] givethe enemynooccasionfor reproach;
sound[in] speechwhich is beyond reproach,sothat the opponentwill be put to shame,havingnothingbadto sayaboutus.
BECAUSEHIS JUDGMENTSARE true AND RIGHTEOUS;for He has judgedthe greatharlotwhowas corruptingthe earthwith her immorality,and HE HAS AVENGEDTHE BLOODOF HIS BOND-SERVANTSON HER."
