You shall then sounda ram'shornabroad on the tenthday of the seventhmonth;on the dayof atonementyou shall sounda hornallthrough your land.
How blessedare the peoplewho knowthe joyfulsound!O LORD,they walkin the lightof Your countenance.
In Your namethey rejoiceallthe day,And by Your righteousnessthey are exalted.
It will comeabout also in that daythat a greattrumpetwill be blown,and those who were perishingin the landof Assyriaand who were scatteredin the landof Egyptwill comeand worshipthe LORDin the holymountainat Jerusalem.
"When he finishesatoningfor the holyplace and the tentof meetingand the altar,he shall offerthe livegoat.
"[This] shall be a permanentstatutefor you: in the seventhmonth,on the tenthday of the month,you shall humbleyour soulsand not doanywork,whether the native,or the alienwho sojournsamongyou;
for it is on thisdaythat atonementshall be madefor you to cleanseyou; you will be cleanfrom allyour sinsbeforethe LORD.
"Speakto the sonsof Israel,saying,In the seventhmonthon the firstof the monthyou shall havea rest,a reminderby blowing[of trumpets], a holyconvocation.
"On exactlythe tenthday of thisseventhmonthis the dayof atonement;it shall be a holyconvocationfor you, and you shall humbleyour soulsand presentan offeringby fireto the LORD.
You are also to countoff sevensabbathsof yearsfor yourself, seventimessevenyears,so that you havethe timeof the sevensabbathsof years,[namely], forty-nineyears.
Ifhe consecrateshis fieldas of the yearof jubilee,according to your valuationit shall stand.
In the yearof jubileethe fieldshall returnto the one from whomhe boughtit, to whomthe possessionof the landbelongs.
"Also in the dayof your gladnessand in your appointedfeasts,and on the first[days] of your months,you shall blowthe trumpetsoveryour burntofferings,and overthe sacrificesof your peaceofferings;and they shall be as a reminderof you beforeyour God.I am the LORDyour God."
"Whenthe jubileeof the sonsof Israelcomes,then their inheritancewill be addedto the inheritanceof the tribeto whichthey belong;so their inheritancewill be withdrawnfrom the inheritanceof the tribeof our fathers."
But I say,surely they have neverheard,have they? Indeedthey have; "THEIR VOICEHAS GONEOUT INTO ALLTHE EARTH,AND THEIR WORDSTO THE ENDSOF THE WORLD."
in the powerof signsand wonders,in the powerof the Spirit;sothat from Jerusalemand round aboutas faras IllyricumI have fully preachedthe gospelof Christ.
For the wordof the Lordhas sounded forthfrom you, not onlyin Macedoniaand Achaia,but also in everyplaceyour faithtowardGodhas gone forth,sothat we havenoneedto sayanything.
"Also sevenpriestsshall carryseventrumpetsof rams'hornsbeforethe ark;then on the seventhdayyou shall marcharoundthe cityseventimes,and the priestsshall blowthe trumpets.
