Nowon the lastday,the great[day] of the feast,Jesusstoodand criedout, saying,"Ifanyoneis thirsty,let him cometo Me and drink.
"Ho!Everyonewho thirsts,cometo the waters;And you whohavenomoneycome,buyand eat.Come,buywineand milkWithoutmoneyand withoutcost.
but whoeverdrinksof the waterthat I will givehim shall neverthirst;but the waterthat I will givehim will becomein him a wellof waterspringingup to eternallife."
Jesussaidto them, "I amthe breadof life;he who comesto Me will not hunger,and he who believesin Me will neverthirst.
Therefore you will joyouslydrawwaterFrom the springsof salvation.
The Spiritand the bridesay,"Come."And let the one who hearssay,"Come."And let the one who is thirstycome;let the one who wishestakethe waterof lifewithout cost.
For I will pourout wateron the thirsty[land] And streamson the dryground;I will pourout My Spiriton your offspringAnd My blessingon your descendants;
Jesusansweredand saidto her, "Ifyou knewthe giftof God,and whoit is who saysto you, 'GiveMe a drink,'you would have askedHim, and He would have givenyou livingwater."
ThenHe saidto me, "It is done.I am the Alphaand the Omega,the beginningand the end.I will giveto the one who thirstsfrom the springof the waterof lifewithout cost.
My soulthirstsfor God,for the livingGod;Whenshall I comeand appearbeforeGod?
O God,You are my God;I shall seekYou earnestly;My soulthirstsfor You, my fleshyearnsfor You, In a dryand wearylandwhere there is nowater.
I stretchout my handsto You; My soul[longs] for You, as a parchedland.Selah.
Thenhe showedme a riverof the waterof life,clearas crystal,comingfrom the throneof Godand of the Lamb,
For by oneSpiritwe were allbaptizedinto onebody,whetherJewsorGreeks,whetherslavesorfree,and we were allmade to drinkof oneSpirit.
"For My fleshis true food,and My bloodis true drink.
"Cometo Me, allwho are wearyand heavy-laden,and I will give you rest.
On the eighthdayyou shall havea solemnassembly;you shall donolaboriouswork.
You cannotdrinkthe cupof the Lordand the cupof demons;you cannotpartakeof the tableof the Lordand the tableof demons.
and alldrankthe samespiritualdrink,for they were drinkingfrom a spiritualrockwhich followedthem; and the rockwas Christ.
"Cryloudly,do not holdback;Raiseyour voicelike a trumpet,And declareto My peopletheir transgressionAnd to the houseof Jacobtheir sins.
For sevendaysyou shall presentan offeringby fireto the LORD.On the eighthdayyou shall havea holyconvocationand presentan offeringby fireto the LORD;it is an assembly.You shall donolaboriouswork.
And do not get drunkwith wine,for that is dissipation,but be filledwith the Spirit,
In the same way[He took] the cupalsoaftersupper,saying,"Thiscupis the newcovenantin My blood;dothis,as oftenas you drink[it], in remembranceof Me."
Jesussaidto him, "I amthe way,and the truth,and the life;no onecomesto the Fatherbut throughMe.
"Allthat the FathergivesMe will cometo Me, and the one who comesto Me I will certainlynot castout.
and you are unwillingto cometo Me sothat you may havelife.
He said,"I am A VOICEOF ONE CRYINGIN THE WILDERNESS,'MAKE STRAIGHTTHE WAYOF THE LORD,'as Isaiahthe prophetsaid."
The LORDof hostswill defendthem. And they will devourand trampleon the slingstones;And they will drink[and] be boisterousas with wine;And they will be filledlike a [sacrificial] basin,[Drenched] like the cornersof the altar.
The voiceof the LORDwill callto the city--And it is soundwisdomto fearYour name:"Hear,O tribe.Whohas appointedits time?
O LORD,my strengthand my stronghold,And my refugein the dayof distress,To You the nationswill comeFrom the endsof the earthand say,"Our fathershave inheritednothingbut falsehood,Futilityand thingsof noprofit."
"Goand proclaimin the earsof Jerusalem,saying,'Thussaysthe LORD,"I rememberconcerning you the devotionof your youth,The loveof your betrothals,Your followingafterMe in the wilderness,Through a landnot sown.
"Inclineyour earand cometo Me. Listen,that you may live;And I will makean everlastingcovenantwith you, [According to] the faithfulmerciesshown to David.
A voicesays,"Callout." Then he answered,"Whatshall I callout?" Allfleshis grass,and allits lovelinessis like the flowerof the field.
He readfrom the bookof the lawof Goddaily,from the firstdayto the lastday.And they celebratedthe feastsevendays,and on the eighthday[there was] a solemnassemblyaccording to the ordinance.
On exactlythe fifteenthdayof the seventhmonth,when you have gatheredin the cropsof the land,you shall celebratethe feastof the LORDfor sevendays,with a reston the firstdayand a reston the eighthday.
ThenJesuscriedout in the temple,teachingand saying,"You bothknow Me and knowwhereI amfrom; and I have not comeof Myself,but He who sentMe is true,whomyou do not know.
"Speakkindlyto Jerusalem;And callout to her, that her warfarehas ended,That her iniquityhas been removed,That she has receivedof the LORD'ShandDoublefor allher sins."
"I have comeinto my garden,my sister,[my] bride;I have gatheredmy myrrhalongwith my balsam.I have eatenmy honeycomband my honey;I have drunkmy wineand my milk.Eat,friends;Drinkand imbibedeeply,O lovers."
Besidethe gates,at the openingto the city,At the entranceof the doors,she criesout:
For thisis the one referredto by Isaiahthe prophetwhen he said,"THE VOICEOF ONE CRYINGIN THE WILDERNESS,MAKE READYTHE WAYOF THE LORD,MAKEHIS PATHSSTRAIGHT!'"
She has sentout her maidens,she callsFrom the topsof the heightsof the city:
Does not wisdomcall,And understandingliftup her voice?
Wisdomshoutsin the street,She liftsher voicein the square;
"I lovethose who loveme; And those who diligentlyseekme will findme.
"It will comeabout that everylivingcreaturewhichswarmsin everyplace wherethe rivergoes,will live.And there will be verymanyfish,for thesewatersgothereand [the others] becomefresh;so everythingwill livewherethe rivergoes.
"Blessedare thosewho hungerand thirstfor righteousness,for they shall be satisfied.
She saidto Him, "Sir,You havenothingto drawwith and the wellis deep;wherethendo You getthat livingwater?
