For You have rescuedmy soulfrom death,My eyesfrom tears,My feetfrom stumbling.
For zealfor Your househas consumedme, And the reproachesof those who reproachYou have fallenon me.
Your deadwill live;Their corpseswill rise.You who liein the dust,awakeand shoutfor joy,For your dew[is as] the dewof the dawn,And the earthwill givebirthto the departedspirits.
O peoplein Zion,inhabitantin Jerusalem,you will weepnolonger.He will surelybe graciousto you at the soundof your cry;when He hearsit, He will answeryou.
The lightof the moonwill be as the lightof the sun,and the lightof the sunwill be seventimes[brighter], like the lightof sevendays,on the daythe LORDbindsup the fractureof His peopleand healsthe bruiseHe has inflicted.
And the ransomedof the LORDwill returnAnd comewith joyfulshoutingto Zion,With everlastingjoyupon their heads.They will findgladnessand joy,And sorrowand sighingwill fleeaway.
They saidto him, "ThussaysHezekiah,'Thisdayis a dayof distress,rebukeand rejection;for childrenhave cometo birth,and thereis nostrengthto deliver.
So the ransomedof the LORDwill returnAnd comewith joyfulshoutingto Zion,And everlastingjoy[will be] on their heads.They will obtaingladnessand joy,And sorrowand sighingwill fleeaway.
"Listento Me, you who knowrighteousness,A peoplein whose heartis My law;Do not fearthe reproachof man,Norbe dismayedat their revilings.
"Fearnot, for you will not be putto shame;And do not feelhumiliated,for you will not be disgraced;But you will forgetthe shameof your youth,And the reproachof your widowhoodyou will remembernomore.
"Whereasyou have beenforsakenand hatedWith noonepassingthrough,I will makeyou an everlastingpride,A joyfrom generationto generation.
Insteadof your shame[you will have a] double[portion], And [instead of] humiliationthey will shoutfor joyover their portion.Thereforethey will possessa double[portion] in their land,Everlastingjoywill be theirs.
"I will also rejoicein Jerusalemand be gladin My people;And there will nolongerbe heardin her The voiceof weepingand the soundof crying.
Hearthe wordof the LORD,you whotrembleat His word:"Your brotherswho hateyou, who excludeyou for My name'ssake,Have said,'Let the LORDbe glorified,that we may seeyour joy.'But they will be putto shame.
Thussaysthe LORD,"Restrainyour voicefrom weepingAnd your eyesfrom tears;For your workwill be rewarded,"declaresthe LORD,"And they will returnfrom the landof the enemy.
Shall I ransomthem from the powerof Sheol?Shall I redeemthem from death?O Death,whereare your thorns?O Sheol,whereis your sting?Compassionwill be hiddenfrom My sight.
"This is the waythe Lordhas dealtwith me in the dayswhenHe looked[with favor] upon [me], to take awaymy disgraceamongmen."
The lastenemythat will be abolishedis death.
But whenthisperishablewill have puton the imperishable,and thismortalwill have puton immortality,thenwill comeabout the sayingthat is written,"DEATHIS SWALLOWEDUP in victory.
but nowhas been revealedby the appearingof our SaviorChristJesus,who abolisheddeathand broughtlifeand immortalityto lightthroughthe gospel,
Ifyou are reviledfor the nameof Christ,you are blessed,becausethe Spiritof gloryand of Godrestson you.
Thendeathand Hadeswere throwninto the lakeof fire.Thisis the seconddeath,the lakeof fire.
and He will wipe awayeverytearfrom their eyes;and there will nolongerbe [any] death;there will nolongerbe [any] mourning,orcrying,orpain;the first thingshave passed away."
for the Lambin the centerof the thronewill be their shepherd,and will guidethem to springsof the waterof life;and Godwill wipeeverytearfrom their eyes."
