"So Israeldwellsin security,The fountainof Jacobsecluded,In a landof grainand newwine;His heavensalsodropdowndew.
Now may Godgiveyou of the dewof heaven,And of the fatnessof the earth,And an abundanceof grainand newwine;
But Isaacrepliedto Esau,"Behold,I have madehim your master,and allhis relativesI have givento him as servants;and with grainand newwineI have sustainedhim. Now as for you then,whatcan I do,my son?"
Then Isaachis fatheransweredand saidto him, "Behold,away from the fertilityof the earthshall be your dwelling,And away from the dewof heavenfrom above.
"Behold,I intendto builda housefor the nameof the LORDmy God,as the LORDspoketo Davidmy father,saying,'Your son,whomI will seton your thronein your place,he will buildthe housefor My name.'
BlessGodin the congregations,[Even] the LORD,[you who are] of the fountainof Israel.
"For howthencan it be knownthat I have foundfavorin Your sight,I and Your people?Is it not by Your goingwith us, so that we, I and Your people,may be distinguishedfrom allthe [other] peoplewhoare upon the faceof the earth?"
The king'swrathis like the roaringof a lion,But his favoris like dewon the grass.
By His knowledgethe deepswere brokenup And the skiesdripwith dew.
"Hearthis,O houseof Jacob,who are namedIsraelAnd who cameforthfrom the loinsof Judah,Who swearby the nameof the LORDAnd invokethe Godof Israel,[But] not in truthnorin righteousness.
"In His daysJudahwill be saved,And Israelwill dwellsecurely;And thisis His nameby whichHe will be called,The LORDour righteousness.'
In thosedaysJudahwill be savedand Jerusalemwill dwellin safety;and thisis [the name] by whichshe will be called:the LORDis our righteousness.'
"Arise,goup againsta nationwhich is at ease,Which livessecurely,"declaresthe LORD."It has nogatesor bars;They dwellalone.
"I will makea covenantof peacewith them and eliminateharmfulbeastsfrom the landso that they may livesecurelyin the wildernessand sleepin the woods.
People will livein it, and there will nolongerbe a curse,for Jerusalemwill dwellin security.
For [there will be] peacefor the seed:the vinewill yieldits fruit,the landwill yieldits produceand the heavenswill givetheir dew;and I will cause the remnantof thispeopleto inheritallthese[things].
"As I seehim from the topof the rocks,And I lookat him from the hills;Behold,a people[who] dwellsapart,And will not be reckonedamong the nations.
"But the landinto whichyou are about to crossto possessit, a landof hillsand valleys,drinkswaterfrom the rainof heaven,
"When you crossthe Jordanand livein the landwhichthe LORDyour Godis giving you to inherit,and He givesyou restfrom allyour enemiesaround[you] so that you livein security,
"Let my teachingdropas the rain,My speechdistillas the dew,As the dropletson the freshgrassAnd as the showerson the herb.
"When the MostHighgavethe nationstheir inheritance,When He separatedthe sonsof man,He setthe boundariesof the peoplesAccording to the numberof the sonsof Israel.
Of Benjaminhe said,"May the belovedof the LORDdwellin securityby Him, Who shieldshim allthe day,And he dwellsbetweenHis shoulders."
Of Josephhe said,"Blessedof the LORD[be] his land,With the choicethingsof heaven,with the dew,And from the deeplyingbeneath,
and nothingunclean,and noone who practicesabominationand lying,shall evercomeinto it, but onlythosewhose names are writtenin the Lamb'sbookof life.
