And I commandedthe Levitesthat they should purifythemselves and comeas gatekeepersto sanctifythe sabbathday.[For] thisalsorememberme, O my God,and havecompassionon me according to the greatnessof Your lovingkindness.
Rememberme for this,O my God,and do not blotout my loyaldeedswhichI have performedfor the houseof my Godand its services.
Rememberme, O my God,for good,[according to] allthat I have donefor thispeople.
and [I arranged] for the supplyof woodat appointedtimesand for the firstfruits.Rememberme, O my God,for good.
They were bothrighteousin the sightof God,walkingblamelesslyin allthe commandmentsand requirementsof the Lord.
"Let your hearttherefore be whollydevotedto the LORDour God,to walkin His statutesand to keepHis commandments,as at thisday."
For our proud confidenceis this:the testimonyof our conscience,that in holinessand godlysincerity,not in fleshlywisdombut in the graceof God,we have conductedourselves in the world,and especiallytowardyou.
JesussawNathanaelcomingto Him, and saidof him, "Behold,an Israeliteindeed,in whomthereis nodeceit!"
And you will swear,'As the LORDlives,'In truth,in justiceand in righteousness;Then the nationswill blessthemselves in Him, And in Him they will glory."
Then His peoplerememberedthe daysof old,of Moses.Whereis He who broughtthem up out of the seawith the shepherdsof His flock?Whereis He who putHis HolySpiritin the midstof them,
"Like a swallow,[like] a crane,soI twitter;I moanlike a dove;My eyeslookwistfullyto the heights;O Lord,I am oppressed,be my security.
The LORDis nearto allwho callupon Him, To allwhocallupon Him in truth.
Rememberthe wordto Your servant,In whichYou have made me hope.
For I have eatenasheslike breadAnd mingledmy drinkwith weeping
Remember,O Lord,the reproachof Your servants;How I bearin my bosom[the reproach of] allthe manypeoples,
Rememberwhatmy spanof lifeis; For whatvanityYou have createdallthe sonsof men!
How blessedis the manto whom the LORDdoes not imputeiniquity,And in whose spiritthereis nodeceit!
Do not rememberthe sinsof my youthor my transgressions;According to Your lovingkindnessrememberme, For Your goodness'sake,O LORD.
I am wearywith my sighing;EverynightI make my bedswim,I dissolvemy couchwith my tears.
The LORDsaidto Satan,"Have you consideredMy servantJob?For thereis noonelikehim on the earth,a blamelessand uprightman,fearingGodand turningawayfrom evil."
There was a manin the landof Uzwhose namewas Job;and that manwas blameless,upright,fearingGodand turningawayfrom evil.
"For the eyesof the LORDmoveto and frothroughoutthe earththat He may stronglysupportthose whose heartis completelyHis. You have actedfoolishlyin this.Indeed,from nowon you will surely havewars."
But the highplaceswere not takenaway;neverthelessthe heartof Asawas whollydevotedto the LORDallhis days.
For whenSolomonwas old,his wivesturnedhis heartawayafterothergods;and his heartwas not whollydevotedto the LORDhis God,as the heartof Davidhis father[had been].
Then Solomonsaid,"You have showngreatlovingkindnessto Your servantDavidmy father,accordingas he walkedbeforeYou in truthand righteousnessand uprightnessof hearttowardYou; and You have reservedfor him thisgreatlovingkindness,that You have givenhim a sonto siton his throne,as [it is] thisday.
sothat the LORDmay carryout His promisewhichHe spokeconcerningme, saying,Ifyour sonsare carefulof their way,to walkbeforeMe in truthwith alltheir heartand with alltheir soul,you shall not lacka manon the throneof Israel.'
Now when Abramwas ninety-nineyearsold,the LORDappearedto Abramand saidto him, "I am GodAlmighty;WalkbeforeMe, and be blameless.
But GodrememberedNoahand allthe beastsand allthe cattlethat were with him in the ark;and Godcaused a windto passoverthe earth,and the watersubsided.
Enochwalkedwith God;and he was not, for Godtookhim.
Then Enochwalkedwith Godthreehundredyearsafterhe becamethe fatherof Methuselah,and he had[other] sonsand daughters.
In the daysof His flesh,He offeredup bothprayersand supplicationswith loudcryingand tearsto the One ableto saveHim from death,and He was heardbecauseof His piety.
"As for you, ifyou will walkbeforeMe as your fatherDavidwalked,in integrityof heartand uprightness,doingaccording to allthat I have commandedyou [and] will keepMy statutesand My ordinances,
Then he turnedhis faceto the walland prayedto the LORD,saying,
BeforeIsaiahhad goneout of the middlecourt,the wordof the LORDcameto him, saying,
Vindicateme, O LORD,for I have walkedin my integrity,And I have trustedin the LORDwithoutwavering.
For Your lovingkindnessis beforemy eyes,And I have walkedin Your truth.
He said,"O LORD,the Godof Israel,thereis noGodlikeYou in heavenaboveor on earthbeneath,keepingcovenantand [showing] lovingkindnessto Your servantswho walkbeforeYou with alltheir heart,
"Is not your fear[of God] your confidence,And the integrityof your waysyour hope?
"My friendsare my scoffers;My eyeweepsto God.
My eyehas wastedawaywith grief;It has becomeoldbecause of allmy adversaries.
"TurnYour gazeawayfrom me, that I may smile[again] BeforeI departand am nomore."
I have toldof my ways,and You have answeredme; Teachme Your statutes.
For thussaysthe LORDto the houseof Israel,"SeekMe that you may live.
