He aroseand struckthe Philistinesuntilhis handwas wearyand clungto the sword,and the LORDbroughtabouta greatvictorythat day;and the peoplereturnedafterhim onlyto strip[the slain].
They tooktheir standin the midstof the plotand defendedit, and struckdownthe Philistines;and the LORDsavedthem by a greatvictory.
So the threebrokethroughthe campof the Philistinesand drewwaterfrom the wellof Bethlehemwhich[was] by the gate,and took[it] and brought[it] to David;nevertheless Davidwouldnot drinkit, but pouredit out to the LORD;
Thus they have repaidme evilfor goodAnd hatredfor my love.
My lifeis continuallyin my hand,Yet I do not forgetYour law.
Indeed,noneof those who waitfor You will be ashamed;Those who dealtreacherouslywithoutcausewill be ashamed.

But Mosessaidto the people,"Do not fear!Standby and seethe salvationof the LORDwhichHe will accomplishfor you today;for the Egyptianswhomyou have seentoday,you will neverseethem againforever.
"Onlyknowfor certainthat ifyou putme to death,you will bringinnocentbloodon yourselves, and on thiscityand on its inhabitants;for trulythe LORDhas sentme to you to speakallthesewordsin your hearing."
When Pilatesawthat he was accomplishingnothing,but ratherthat a riotwas starting,he tookwaterand washedhis handsin frontof the crowd,saying,"I aminnocentof this Man'sblood;see[to that] yourselves."
saying,"I have sinnedby betrayinginnocentblood."But they said,"Whatis that to us? See[to that] yourself!"
"But [they have done this] to fulfillthe wordthat is writtenin their Law,THEY HATEDME WITHOUT A CAUSE.'
"But I do not considermy lifeof anyaccountas dearto myself,sothat I may finishmy courseand the ministrywhichI receivedfrom the LordJesus,to testify solemnlyof the gospelof the graceof God.
becausehe came closeto deathfor the workof Christ,riskinghis lifeto completewhat was deficientin your serviceto me.
howwill we escapeif we neglectso greata salvation?Afterit was at the firstspokenthroughthe Lord,it was confirmedto us by thosewho heard,
"When I sawthat you would not deliver[me], I tookmy lifein my handsand crossedoveragainstthe sonsof Ammon,and the LORDgavethem into my hand.Whythen have you comeup to me thisdayto fightagainst me?"
for my fatherfoughtfor you and riskedhis lifeand deliveredyou from the handof Midian;
But Saulsaid,"Not a manshall be putto deaththisday,for todaythe LORDhas accomplisheddeliverancein Israel."
But the peoplesaidto Saul,"Must Jonathandie,whohas broughtaboutthisgreatdeliverancein Israel?Farfrom it! As the LORDlives,not one hairof his headshall fallto the ground,for he has workedwith Godthisday."So the peoplerescuedJonathanand he did not die.
Saullistenedto the voiceof Jonathan,and Saulvowed,"As the LORDlives,he shall not be putto death."
But JonathanansweredSaulhis fatherand saidto him, "Whyshould he be putto death?Whathas he done?"
Then Ahimelechansweredthe kingand said,"And whoamong allyour servantsis as faithfulas David,even the king'sson-in-law,who is captain overyour guard,and is honoredin your house?
The womancameto Sauland sawthat he was terrified,and saidto him, "Behold,your maidservanthas obeyedyou, and I have takenmy lifein my handand have listenedto your wordswhichyou spoketo me.
