Washme thoroughlyfrom my iniquityAnd cleanseme from my sin.
Purifyme with hyssop,and I shall be clean;Washme, and I shall be whiterthansnow.
There is a kindwho is purein his own eyes,Yet is not washedfrom his filthiness.
"Washyourselves, makeyourselves clean;Removethe evilof your deedsfrom My sight.Ceaseto do evil,
"In the LORDallthe offspringof IsraelWill be justifiedand will glory."
As a resultof the anguishof His soul,He will see[it and] be satisfied;By His knowledgethe RighteousOne,My Servant,will justifythe many,As He will beartheir iniquities.
Washyour heartfrom evil,O Jerusalem,That you may be saved.Howlongwill your wickedthoughtsLodgewithinyou?
"Then I will sprinklecleanwateron you, and you will be clean;I will cleanseyou from allyour filthinessand from allyour idols.
"If,on the other hand, the priestcomesin and makesan inspectionand the markhas not indeedspreadin the houseafterthe househas been replastered,then the priestshall pronouncethe housecleanbecausethe markhas not reappeared.
Then Moseshad Aaronand his sonscomenearand washedthem with water.
and to thosehe said,'You alsogointo the vineyard,and whateveris rightI will giveyou.' And [so] they went.

Petersaidto Him, "Nevershall You washmy feet!"Jesusansweredhim, "IfI do not washyou, you havenopartwith Me."
for an angelof the Lordwent downat certainseasonsinto the pooland stirredup the water;whoever thenfirst,afterthe stirringup of the water,steppedin was madewellfrom whateverdiseasewith whichhe was afflicted].
and throughHim everyonewho believesis freedfrom all things,from whichyou couldnot be freedthroughthe Lawof Moses.
Nowwhydo you delay?Getup and be baptized,and wash awayyour sins,callingon His name.'
to opentheir eyesso that they may turnfrom darknessto lightand from the dominionof Satanto God,that they may receiveforgivenessof sinsand an inheritanceamongthosewho have been sanctifiedby faithin Me.'
being justifiedas a giftby His gracethroughthe redemptionwhich is in ChristJesus;
But to the one who does not work,but believesin Him who justifiesthe ungodly,his faithis creditedas righteousness,
Therefore,having been justifiedby faith,we havepeacewith Godthroughour LordJesusChrist,
Muchmorethen,having nowbeen justifiedby His blood,we shall be savedfrom the wrath[of God] throughHim.
and thesewhomHe predestined,He alsocalled;and thesewhomHe called,He alsojustified;and thesewhomHe justified,He alsoglorified.
Whowill bring a chargeagainstGod'select?Godis the one who justifies;
To the churchof Godwhich is at Corinth,to those who have been sanctifiedin ChristJesus,saintsby calling,with allwho in everyplacecallon the nameof our LordJesusChrist,their [Lord] and ours:
But by His doing you are in ChristJesus,whobecameto us wisdomfrom God,and righteousnessand sanctification,and redemption,
You knowthat whenyou were pagans,[you were] led astrayto the muteidols,howeveryou were led.
neverthelessknowingthat a manis not justifiedby the worksof the Lawbut throughfaithin ChristJesus,evenwe have believedin ChristJesus,sothat we may be justifiedby faithin Christand not by the worksof the Law;sinceby the worksof the Lawnofleshwill be justified.
Nowthat no oneis justifiedby the LawbeforeGodis evident;for, "THE RIGHTEOUS MANSHALL LIVEBY FAITH."
Thereforethe Lawhas becomeour tutor[to lead us] to Christ,sothat we may be justifiedby faith.
The Scripture,foreseeingthat Godwould justifythe Gentilesby faith,preached the gospel beforehandto Abraham,[saying], "ALLTHE NATIONSWILL BE BLESSEDIN YOU."
sothat He might sanctifyher, having cleansedher by the washingof waterwith the word,
for you were formerlydarkness,but nowyou are Lightin the Lord;walkas childrenof Light
But we shouldalwaysgive thanksto Godfor you, brethrenbelovedby the Lord,becauseGodhas chosenyou from the beginningfor salvationthroughsanctificationby the Spiritand faithin the truth.
let us draw nearwith a sincereheartin full assuranceof faith,having our heartssprinkled[clean] from an evilconscienceand our bodieswashedwith purewater.
How muchsevererpunishmentdo you thinkhe will deservewho has trampled under footthe Sonof God,and has regardedas uncleanthe bloodof the covenantby whichhe was sanctified,and has insultedthe Spiritof grace?
For bothHe who sanctifiesand thosewho are sanctifiedare allfrom one[Father]; for whichreasonHe is not ashamedto callthem brethren,
accordingto the foreknowledgeof Godthe Father,by the sanctifying workof the Spirit,to obeyJesusChristand be sprinkledwith His blood:May graceand peacebe yoursin the fullest measure.
Since you have in obedienceto the truthpurifiedyour soulsfor a sincerelove of the brethren,ferventlyloveone anotherfrom the heart,
Correspondingto that, baptismnowsavesyou-- not the removalof dirtfrom the flesh,but an appealto Godfor a goodconscience--throughthe resurrectionof JesusChrist,
I am writingto you, little children,becauseyour sinshave been forgivenyou for His name'ssake.
and from JesusChrist,the faithfulwitness,the firstbornof the dead,and the rulerof the kingsof the earth.To Him who lovesus and releasedus from our sinsby His blood--
I saidto him, "My lord,you know."And he saidto me, "Theseare the ones who comeout of the greattribulation,and they have washedtheir robesand made them whitein the bloodof the Lamb.
