And they that call this people blessed shall cause them to err: and they that are called blessed shall be thrown down headlong.


Let them alone: they are blind, and leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into the pit.


And again I say to you: It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven.


Woe to you blind guides, that say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but he that shall swear by the gold of the temple, is a debtor.


Or how sayest thou to thy brother: Let me cast the mote out of thy eye; and behold a beam is in thy own eye?


Then they led Jesus from Caiphas to the governor's hall. And it was morning; and they went not into the hall, that they might not be defiled, but that they might eat the pasch.


Then cried they all again, saying: Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.


And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the river, which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
