² H3068And the LORDH7200appeared[H8735] H559unto him, and said[H8799] H3381, Go not down[H8799] H4714into EgyptH7931; dwell[H8798] H776in the landH559which I shall tell[H8799]  thee of:

³ H1481Sojourn[H8798] H776in this landH1288, and I will be with thee, and will bless[H8762] H2233thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seedH5414, I will give[H8799] H411all theseH776countriesH6965, and I will perform[H8689] H7621the oathH7650which I sware[H8738] H85unto AbrahamH1thy father;

⁴ H7235And I will makeH2233thy seedH7235to multiply[H8689] H3556as the starsH8064of heavenH5414, and will give[H8804] H2233unto thy seedH411all theseH776countriesH2233; and in thy seedH1471shall all the nationsH776of the earthH1288be blessed[H8694] ;

¹⁷ H3327And IsaacH3212departed[H8799] H2583thence, and pitched his tent[H8799] H5158in the valleyH1642of GerarH3427, and dwelt[H8799] H8033there.

¹⁸ H3327And IsaacH2658digged[H8799] H7725again[H8799] H875the wellsH4325of waterH2658, which they had digged[H8804] H3117in the daysH85of AbrahamH1his fatherH6430; for the PhilistinesH5640had stopped[H8762] H310them afterH4194the deathH85of AbrahamH7121: and he called[H8799] H8034their namesH8034after the namesH834by whichH1his fatherH7121had called[H8804]  them.

¹⁹ H3327And Isaac'sH5650servantsH2658digged[H8799] H5158in the valleyH4672, and found[H8799] H875there a wellH2416of springingH4325water.

²⁰ H7462And the herdmen[H8802] H1642of GerarH7378did strive[H8799] H3327with Isaac'sH7462herdmen[H8802] H559, saying[H8800] H4325, The waterH7121is ours: and he called[H8799] H8034the nameH875of the wellH6230EsekH6229; because they strove[H8694]  with him.

²¹ H2658And they digged[H8799] H312anotherH875wellH7378, and strove[H8799] H7121for that also: and he called[H8799] H8034the name of itH7856Sitnah.

²³ H5927And he went up[H8799] H884from thence to Beersheba.

²⁴ H3068And the LORDH7200appeared[H8735] H3915unto him the same nightH559, and said[H8799] H430, I am the GodH85of AbrahamH1thy fatherH3372: fear[H8799] H854not, for I am withH1288thee, and will bless[H8765] H7235thee, and multiply[H8689] H2233thy seedH5650for my servantH85Abraham's sake.

²⁵ H1129And he builded[H8799] H4196an altarH7121there, and called[H8799] H8034upon the nameH3068of the LORDH5186, and pitched[H8799] H168his tentH3327there: and there Isaac'sH5650servantsH3738digged[H8799] H875a well.

²⁶ H40Then AbimelechH1980went[H8804] H1642to him from GerarH276, and AhuzzathH4828one of his friendsH6369, and PhicholH8269the chief captainH6635of his army.

²⁷ H3327And IsaacH559said[H8799] H4069unto them, WhereforeH935come[H8804] H8130ye to me, seeing ye hate[H8804] H7971me, and have sent me away[H8762]  from you?

²⁸ H559And they said[H8799] H7200, We saw[H8804] H7200certainly[H8800] H3068that the LORDH559was with thee: and we said[H8799] H423, Let there be now an oathH996betwixtH996us, even betwixtH3772us and thee, and let us make[H8799] H1285a covenant with thee;

²⁹ H6213That thou wilt do[H8799] H7451us no hurtH5060, as we have not touched[H8804] H6213thee, and as we have done[H8804] H7535unto thee nothing butH2896goodH7971, and have sent thee away[H8762] H7965in peaceH6258: thou art nowH1288the blessed[H8803] H3068of the LORD.

³⁰ H6213And he made[H8799] H4960them a feastH398, and they did eat[H8799] H8354and drink[H8799] .

³² H3117And it came to pass the same dayH3327, that Isaac'sH5650servantsH935came[H8799] H5046, and told[H8686] H182him concerningH875the wellH2658which they had digged[H8804] H559, and said[H8799] H4672unto him, We have found[H8804] H4325water.
