YHWH appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your offspring.” So he built an altar there to YHWH, who had appeared to him.
for I will give all the land which you see to you and to your offspring forever.
Arise, walk through the land in its length and in its width; for I will give it to you.”
“I am a stranger and a foreigner living with y’all. Give me a possession of a burial site among y’all so that I may bury my dead out of my sight.”
YHWH appeared to him the same night, and said, “I am the God of Abraham your father. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you, and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.”
and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your offspring with you, that you may inherit the land where you travel, which God gave to Abraham.”
Jacob came to Isaac his father, to Mamre, to Kiriath Arba (which is Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac lived as foreigners.
For their property was too great for them to dwell together, and the land of their travels couldn’t bear them because of their livestock.
Jacob lived in the land of his father had stayed, in the land of Canaan.
and said to me, ‘I will make you fruitful, and multiply you, and I will make of you a company of peoples, and will give this land to your offspring after you for an everlasting possession.’
Isn’t my house so with God? Yet he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure, for it is all my salvation and all my desire. Won’t he make it grow?

But YHWH’s lovingkindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear ʜɪᴍ, ʜɪꜱ righteousness to children’s children,
saying, “To you, I will give the land of Canaan, the portion of y’all’s inheritance,”
“When YHWH brings you into the land of the Canaanite, as he swore to you and to your ancestors, and will give it to you,
then his master must bring him to God, and bring him to the door or to the doorpost, and his master will bore his ear through with an awl, and he will serve him forever.
You must remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self, and said to them, ‘I will multiply y’all’s descendants as the stars of the sky, and all this land that I have spoken of I will give to y’all’s descendants, and they will inherit it forever.’”
You are to anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing will be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”
I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens.
I will take y’all as my people. I will be y’all’s God, and y’all will know that I am YHWH, y’all’s God, who brought y’all out from under the forced labor of the Egyptians.

“When y’all enter the land of Canaan, which I give to y’all as a possession, and I place a contamination of leprosy in a house in the land of y’all are to possess,
“This is to be a permanent statute for y’all, to make atonement for the children of Israel once in the year because of all their sins.” It was done as YHWH commanded Moses.
I will walk among y’all and be y’all’s God, and y’all will be my people.
I will bring them, and they will dwell within Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.”
Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are journeying to the place about which YHWH said, ‘I will give it to y’all.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well, for YHWH has spoken good concerning Israel.”
So it will be for him and his offspring after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was jealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.’”
YHWH said to Moses, “Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.
Hᴇ didn’t gave him an inheritance in it, not even ground for his foot. But ʜᴇ promised to give it to him as a possession, and to his descendants after him, though his child did not yet exist.
For you are a holy people to YHWH your God, and YHWH has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.
YHWH has declared today that you are a people for ʜɪꜱ own possession, as ʜᴇ has promised you, and that you are to keep all ʜɪꜱ commandments.
that he may establish you today as ʜɪꜱ people, and that he may be your God, as ʜᴇ spoke to you and as ʜᴇ swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
“Go up into this mountain of Abarim, to Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab across from Jericho, and see the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel as a possession.
When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the children of humankind, ʜᴇ set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.
YHWH said to him, “This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your offspring.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you must not go over there.”
Because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their offspring after them, and brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt;
Not because of your righteousness or because of the uprightness of your heart will you go in to possess their land. Instead it is because of the wickedness of these nations that YHWH your God drive them out from before you, and so that ʜᴇ might establish the word which YHWH swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
For through this, he is the mediator of a new covenant—since a death has occurred for the ransom of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
“Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go across this Jordan, you and all these people, to the land which I am giving to them, even to the children of Israel.
To those who conquer, I will give these things. I will be their God, and they will be my children.
