¶ It fortuned in Iconium that they went both together into the Sinagogue of the jewes, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the jewes and also of the greeks believed.


After they had preached to that city, and taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium and Antioche,


they were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derba, cities of Licaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about,


and then by and by the brethren sent away Paul to go unto the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still.


¶ When Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia Paul was pained by the spirit, as he testified to the jewes that Iesus was Christ.


So sent he into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him: Timotheus and Erastus: but he himself remained in Asia. For a season.


¶ Timotheus my work fellow, and Lucius, and Iason, and Sopater, my kinsmen salute you.


If Timotheus come, see that he be without fear with you. For he worketh the work of the Lord as I do.


For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, which is my dear son, and faithful in the Lord, which shall put you in remembrance of my ways which I have in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in all congregations.


For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife: and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband. Or else were your children unclean: but now are they pure.


¶ Paul an apostle of Iesus Christ by the will of God, and brother Timotheus. ¶ Unto the congregation of God, which is at Corinthum, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:


For Goddis son Iesus Christ which was preached among you by us (that is to say by me and Silvanus and Thimotheus) was not yee and nay: but in him it was Yee:

¶ I trust in the Lord Iesus for to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know what case ye stand in.

and sent Timotheus our brother and minister of God, and our labourfellow in the gospell of Christ, to stablish you, and to comfort you over your faith,


¶ Now lately when Timotheus came from you unto us and declared to us your faith, and your love, and how that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring to see us, as we desire to see you.


¶ Paul, Sylvanus and Timotheus. ¶ Unto the congregation of the Thessalonians, which are in God our father, and in the Lord Iesus Christ.


¶ This commandment commit I unto thee son Timotheus, according to the prophecies which in time past were prophesied of thee, that thou in them shouldest fight a good fight,


¶ Unto Timothy his natural son in the faith. ¶ Grace mercy and peace from God our father, and from the Lord Iesu Christ.


¶ To Timothy his beloved son. Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the father, and from Iesus Christ our Lord.


when I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and in thy mother Eunica: and am assured that it dwelleth in thee also.


persecutions, and afflictions which happened unto me at Antioche, at Iconium, and at Lystra: which persecutions I suffered patiently, And from them all the Lord delivered me.


¶ Paul the prisoner of Iesu Christ, and brother Timotheus. ¶ Unto Philemon the beloved, and our helper,


Know the brother Timothy, whom we have sent from us, with whom (if he come shortly) I will see you.
