They sent their talmidim to him, along with the Herodians, saying, *Rabbi, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter who you teach, for you aren't partial to anyone.
Now the chief Kohanim and the elders persuaded the multitudes to ask for Bar-Abba, and destroy Yeshua.
Likewise the chief Kohanim also mocking, with the scribes, the Perushim, and the elders, said,
But when he saw many of the Perushim and Tzedukim coming for his immersion, he said to them, *You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
It happened on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, that the Kohanim and scribes came to him with the elders.
He went away, and talked with the chief Kohanim and captains about how he might deliver him to them.
Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his lord.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also.
Yehudah then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief Kohanim and the Perushim, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.

The word of God increased and the number of the talmidim multiplied in Yerushalayim exceedingly. A great company of the Kohanim were obedient to the faith.
