But the Kohanim were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: therefore their brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was ended, and until the Kohanim had sanctified themselves; for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the Kohanim.


For Chizkiyahu king of Yehudah did give to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of Kohanim sanctified themselves.


Her Kohanim I will also clothe with salvation. Her holy ones will shout aloud for joy.


Let your Kohen be clothed with righteousness. Let your holy ones shout for joy!*


But many will be last who are first; and first who are last.

So the word of the Lord was growing and becoming mighty.

They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him, *You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Judeans of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the Torah.


Now in those days, when the number of the talmidim was multiplying, a complaint arose from the Hellenists against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily service.


through whom we received grace and the office of emissary, for obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;


(14:25) but now is revealed, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the mitzvah of the eternal God, is made known for obedience of faith to all the nations;


but they only heard: *He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.*


So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.


which has come to you; even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;


giving vengeance to those who don't know God, and to those who don't obey the Good News of our Lord Yeshua,

By faith, Avraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out to the place which he was to receive for an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he went.


Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,


But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.


Beloved, while I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I was constrained to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the holy ones.
