Of the increase of his government and of shalom there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will perform this.


He went away, and talked with the chief Kohanim and captains about how he might deliver him to them.


Yeshua said to the chief Kohanim, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, *Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?


The Perushim therefore said among themselves, *See how you accomplish nothing. Behold, the world has gone after him.*


They were all amazed, and were perplexed, saying one to another, *What does this mean?*


As they spoke to the people, the Kohanim and the captain of the temple and the Tzedukim came to them,


When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people; for everyone glorified God for that which was done.


*We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!*


One came and told them, *Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.*


Then the captain went with the officers, and brought them without violence, for they were afraid that the people might stone them.
