So God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied and became very numerous.
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.

However, I did give them this command: “Obey me, and then I will be your God, and you will be my people. Follow every way I command you so that it may go well with you.”
The person who sins is the one who will die. A son won’t suffer punishment for the father’s iniquity, and a father won’t suffer punishment for the son’s iniquity. The righteousness of the righteous person will be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked person will be on him.
‘Pass throughout the city of Jerusalem,’ the Lord said to him, ‘and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the detestable practices committed in it.’
Then the earth will become a wasteland because of its inhabitants and as a result of their actions.
Seek the Lord, all you humble of the earth, who carry out what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be concealed on the day of the Lord’s anger.
So you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.
Do not eat it, so that you and your children after you will prosper, because you will be doing what is right in the Lord’s sight.
For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you demonstrated for his name by serving the saints #– #and by continuing to serve them.
