"Ifyou then,beingevil,know howto givegoodgiftsto your children,how muchmorewill [your] heavenlyFathergivethe HolySpiritto thosewho askHim?"

"IfI goand preparea placefor you, I will comeagainand receiveyou to Myself,that whereI am,[there] you may be also.
"But whenHe, the Spiritof truth,comes,He will guideyou into allthe truth;for He will not speakon His own initiative,but whateverHe hears,He will speak;and He will discloseto you what is to come.
"Father,I desirethat they also,whomYou have givenMe, be with Me whereI am,sothat they may seeMy glorywhichYou have givenMe, for You lovedMe beforethe foundationof the world.
"Now,Father,glorifyMe togetherwith Yourself,with the glorywhichI hadwith You beforethe worldwas.
They went on stoningStephenas he calledon [the Lord] and said,"LordJesus,receivemy spirit!"
For we knowthat ifthe earthlytentwhich is our houseis torn down,we havea buildingfrom God,a housenot made with hands,eternalin the heavens.
"They shall havenoinheritanceamongtheir countrymen;the LORDis their inheritance,as He promisedthem.
But ifanyof you lackswisdom,let him askof God,who givesto allgenerouslyand withoutreproach,and it will be givento him.
