Yeta littlewhileand the wickedmanwill be nomore;And you will lookcarefullyfor his placeand he will not be [there].

So they hangedHamanon the gallowswhichhe had preparedfor Mordecai,and the king'sangersubsided.
"But mandiesand liesprostrate.Manexpires,and whereis he?
That the triumphingof the wickedis short,And the joyof the godlessmomentary?
"They are exalteda littlewhile,then they are gone;Moreover, they are broughtlowand like everythinggatheredup; Even like the headsof grainthey are cutoff.
"He will not returnagainto his house,Norwill his placeknowhim anymore.
"Whythen do You not pardonmy transgressionAnd takeawaymy iniquity?For nowI will liedownin the dust;And You will seekme, but I will not be."
Whenthe windhas passedoverit, it is nomore,And its placeacknowledgesit nolonger.
For he sees[that even] wisemendie;The stupidand the senselessalikeperishAnd leavetheir wealthto others.
But Godwill breakyou downforever;He will snatchyou up and tearyou awayfrom [your] tent,And uprootyou from the landof the living.Selah.
The houseof the wickedwill be destroyed,But the tentof the uprightwill flourish.
The endof all thingsis near;therefore,be of sound judgmentand sober[spirit] for the purpose of prayer.
