On that daythey readaloud from the bookof Mosesin the hearingof the people;and there was foundwrittenin it that noAmmoniteor Moabiteshould everenterthe assemblyof God,
Your holypeoplepossessedYour sanctuaryfor a littlewhile,Our adversarieshave trodden[it] down.
"Your wealthand your treasuresI will givefor bootywithoutcost,Even for allyour sinsAnd within allyour borders.
I will also giveover allthe wealthof thiscity,allits produceand allits costlythings;even allthe treasuresof the kingsof JudahI will giveover to the handof their enemies,and they will plunderthem, takethem away and bringthem to Babylon.
"For thussaysthe LORDof hostsconcerningthe pillars,concerningthe sea,concerningthe standsand concerningthe restof the vesselsthat are leftin thiscity,
"Yes,thussaysthe LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,concerningthe vesselsthat are leftin the houseof the LORDand in the houseof the kingof Judahand in Jerusalem,
There is a soundof fugitivesand refugeesfrom the landof Babylon,To declarein Zionthe vengeanceof the LORDour God,Vengeancefor His temple.
We are ashamedbecausewe have heardreproach;Disgracehas coveredour faces,For alienshave enteredThe holyplacesof the LORD'Shouse.
He burnedthe houseof the LORD,the king'shouseand allthe housesof Jerusalem;even everylargehousehe burnedwith fire.
In the daysof her afflictionand homelessnessJerusalemremembersallher preciousthingsThat were from the daysof old,When her peoplefellinto the handof the adversaryAnd noonehelpedher. The adversariessawher, They mockedat her ruin.
when you broughtin foreigners,uncircumcisedin heartand uncircumcisedin flesh,to be in My sanctuaryto profaneit, [even] My house,when you offeredMy food,the fatand the blood;for they madeMy covenantvoid--[this] in additionto allyour abominations.
