Then the angerof the LORDwas kindledagainst Israel,so that He soldthem into the handsof Cushan-rishathaimkingof Mesopotamia;and the sonsof IsraelservedCushan-rishathaimeightyears.
Then the servanttooktencamelsfrom the camelsof his master,and setout with a varietyof goodthingsof his master'sin his hand;and he aroseand wentto Mesopotamia,to the cityof Nahor.
Then He gavethem into the handof the nations,And thosewho hatedthem ruledover them.
"Manytimesthey have persecutedme from my youthup," Let Israelnowsay,
You sellYour peoplecheaply,And have not profitedby their sale.
O LORD,do not rebukeme in Your anger,Norchastenme in Your wrath.
You withdrewallYour fury;You turnedawayfrom Your burninganger.
and My angerwill be kindled,and I will killyou with the sword,and your wivesshall becomewidowsand your childrenfatherless.

The Spiritof the LORDcameupon him, and he judgedIsrael.When he wentout to war,the LORDgaveCushan-rishathaimkingof Mesopotamiainto his hand,so that he prevailedoverCushan-rishathaim.
The sonsof Israeldidwhatwas evilin the sightof the LORD,and forgotthe LORDtheir Godand servedthe Baalsand the Asheroth.
When the sonsof Israelcriedto the LORD,the LORDraisedup a delivererfor the sonsof Israelto deliverthem, Othnielthe sonof Kenaz,Caleb'syoungerbrother.
She said,"I will surelygowith you; nevertheless,the honorshall not be yours on the journeythat you are about to take,for the LORDwill sellSiserainto the handsof a woman."Then Deboraharoseand wentwith Barakto Kedesh.
"But they forgotthe LORDtheir God,so He soldthem into the handof Sisera,captainof the armyof Hazor,and into the handof the Philistinesand into the handof the kingof Moab,and they foughtagainst them.
