"It cameabout when [it was time] to shutthe gateat dark,that the menwentout; I do not knowwherethe menwent.Pursuethem quickly,for you will overtakethem."
It cameabout that justas it grewdarkat the gatesof Jerusalembeforethe sabbath,I commandedthat the doorsshould be shutand that they should not openthem untilafterthe sabbath.Then I stationedsome of my servantsat the gates[so that] noloadwould enteron the sabbathday.
"Your gateswill be opencontinually;They will not be closeddayor night,So that [men] may bringto you the wealthof the nations,With their kingsledin procession.
In thosedaysand at that time,'declaresthe LORD,'searchwill be madefor the iniquityof Israel,but therewill be none;and for the sinsof Judah,but they will not be found;for I will pardonthose whomI leaveas a remnant.'
"By the riveron its bank,on onesideand on the other,will growall[kinds of] treesfor food.Their leaveswill not witherand their fruitwill not fail.They will bearevery monthbecausetheir waterflowsfrom the sanctuary,and their fruitwill be for foodand their leavesfor healing."
But the womanhad takenthe twomenand hiddenthem, and she said,"Yes,the mencameto me, but I did not knowwherethey were from.
But she had broughtthem up to the roofand hiddenthem in the stalksof flaxwhich she had laidin orderon the roof.
So the menpursuedthem on the roadto the Jordanto the fords;and as soonas those who were pursuingthem had goneout, they shutthe gate.
In the daytime(for there will be nonightthere)its gateswill neverbe closed;
