The LORDwas with Joseph,so he becamea successfulman.And he was in the houseof his master,the Egyptian.
Now his mastersawthat the LORDwas with him and [how] the LORDcaused allthat he didto prosperin his hand.
Absalomcommandedhis servants,saying,"Seenow,when Amnon'sheartis merrywith wine,and when I sayto you, 'StrikeAmnon,'then puthim to death.Do not fear;have not I myselfcommandedyou? Be courageousand be valiant."
Then Davidsaidto his sonSolomon,"Be strongand courageous,and act;do not fearnorbe dismayed,for the LORDGod,my God,is with you. He will not failyou norforsakeyou untilallthe workfor the serviceof the houseof the LORDis finished.
"But you, be strongand do not losecourage,for thereis rewardfor your work."
The LORDof hostsis with us; The Godof Jacobis our stronghold.Selah.
Do not fear,for I am with you; Do not anxiously lookabout you, for I am your God.I will strengthenyou, surelyI will helpyou, SurelyI will upholdyou with My righteousrighthand.'
But now,thussaysthe LORD,your Creator,O Jacob,And He who formedyou, O Israel,"Do not fear,for I have redeemedyou; I have calledyou by name;you are Mine!
"Do not fear,for I am with you; I will bringyour offspringfrom the east,And gatheryou from the west.
"You are not to say,[It is] a conspiracy!'In regard to allthat thispeoplecalla conspiracy,And you are not to fearwhatthey fearor be in dreadof [it].
He said,"O manof highesteem,do not be afraid.Peacebe with you; takecourageand be courageous!"Now as soon as he spoketo me, I receivedstrengthand said,"May my lordspeak,for you have strengthenedme."
But nowtakecourage,Zerubbabel,'declaresthe LORD,'takecouragealso, Joshuasonof Jehozadak,the highpriest,and allyou peopleof the landtakecourage,'declaresthe LORD,'and work;for I am with you,' declaresthe LORDof hosts.
As for the promisewhichI madeyou when you cameout of Egypt,My Spiritis abidingin your midst;do not fear!'
But Peterand Johnansweredand saidto them, "Whetherit is rightin the sightof Godto give heedto you ratherthanto God,you be the judge;
See,the LORDyour Godhas placedthe landbeforeyou; goup, takepossession,as the LORD,the Godof your fathers,has spokento you. Do not fearor be dismayed.'
"Whenyou goout to battleagainstyour enemiesand seehorsesand chariots[and] peoplemorenumerousthanyou, do not be afraidof them; for the LORDyour God,whobroughtyou up from the landof Egypt,is with you.
Then He commissionedJoshuathe sonof Nun,and said,"Be strongand courageous,for you shall bringthe sonsof Israelinto the landwhichI sworeto them, and I will be with you."
"Assembleto me allthe eldersof your tribesand your officers,that I may speakthesewordsin their hearingand callthe heavensand the earthto witnessagainst them.
Then Joshuacommandedthe officersof the people,saying,
"Justas we obeyedMosesin allthings,sowe will obeyyou; onlymay the LORDyour Godbe with you as He was with Moses.
"Anyonewhorebelsagainstyour commandand does not obeyyour wordsin allthat you commandhim, shall be putto death;onlybe strongand courageous."
Joshuathen saidto them, "Do not fearor be dismayed!Be strongand courageous,for thusthe LORDwill doto allyour enemieswith whomyou fight."
The LORDsaidto Joshua,"Do not fearthem, for I have giventhem into your hands;not oneof them shall standbeforeyou."
Now the LORDsaidto Joshua,"ThisdayI will beginto exaltyou in the sightof allIsrael,that they may knowthat justas I have beenwith Moses,I will be with you.
So the LORDwas with Joshua,and his famewas in allthe land.
Now the LORDsaidto Joshua,"Do not fearor be dismayed.Takeallthe peopleof warwith you and arise,goup to Ai;see,I have giveninto your handthe kingof Ai,his people,his city,and his land.
The LORDlookedat him and said,"Goin thisyour strengthand deliverIsraelfrom the handof Midian.Have I not sentyou?"
"It shall be whenthesesignscometo you, dofor yourself whatthe occasionrequires,for Godis with you.
