Gatherthe people,sanctifythe congregation,Assemblethe elders,Gatherthe childrenand the nursinginfants.Let the bridegroomcomeout of his roomAnd the brideout of her [bridal] chamber.
AllJudahwas standingbeforethe LORD,with their infants,their wivesand their children.
Then he saidto them, "Listento me, O Levites.Consecrateyourselves now,and consecratethe houseof the LORD,the Godof your fathers,and carrythe uncleannessout from the holyplace.
For [there were] manyin the assemblywhohad not consecratedthemselves; therefore, the Levites[were] overthe slaughterof the Passover[lambs] for everyonewho [was] unclean,in order to consecrate[them] to the LORD.
everyonewho prepareshis heartto seekGod,the LORDGodof his fathers,though not according to the purification[rules] of the sanctuary."
"Now slaughterthe Passover[animals], sanctifyyourselves and preparefor your brethrento doaccording to the wordof the LORDby Moses."
Whenthe daysof feastinghad completedtheir cycle,Jobwould sendand consecratethem, risingup earlyin the morningand offeringburntofferings[according to] the numberof them all;for Jobsaid,"Perhapsmy sonshave sinnedand cursedGodin their hearts."ThusJobdidcontinually.
Whichis as a bridegroomcomingout of his chamber;It rejoicesas a strongmanto runhis course.
The LORDalso saidto Moses,"Goto the peopleand consecratethem todayand tomorrow,and let them washtheir garments;
He saidto the people,"Be readyfor the thirdday;do not goneara woman."
"Alsolet the priestswho comenearto the LORDconsecratethemselves, orelsethe LORDwill breakout against them."
Consecratea fast,Proclaima solemnassembly;Gatherthe elders[And] allthe inhabitantsof the landTo the houseof the LORDyour God,And cryout to the LORD.
and saidto Him, "Do You hearwhatthese[children] are saying?"And Jesussaidto them, "Yes;have you neverread,OUT OF THE MOUTHOF INFANTSAND NURSING BABIESYOU HAVE PREPAREDPRAISEFOR YOURSELF'?"
And Jesussaidto them, "The attendantsof the bridegroomcannotmournas longas the bridegroomis with them, can they? But the dayswill comewhenthe bridegroomis taken awayfrom them, and thenthey will fast.
Stopdeprivingone another,exceptby agreementfor a time,sothat you may devote yourselvesto prayer,and cometogetheragainsothat Satanwill not temptyou becauseof your lack of self-control.
"Riseup! Consecratethe peopleand say,'Consecrateyourselves for tomorrow,for thusthe LORD,the Godof Israel,has said,"There are thingsunderthe banin your midst,O Israel.You cannotstandbeforeyour enemiesuntilyou have removedthe thingsunderthe banfrom your midst."
There was not a wordof allthat Moseshad commandedwhichJoshuadid not readbeforeallthe assemblyof Israelwith the womenand the littleonesand the strangerswho were livingamongthem.
He said,"In peace;I have cometo sacrificeto the LORD.Consecrateyourselves and comewith me to the sacrifice."He also consecratedJesseand his sonsand invitedthem to the sacrifice.
